Chapter 1
Kisan was an average boy, not particularly good-looking but known for his kind heart. His life changed when the world went into lockdown, confining everyone to their homes. Like many students, Kisan attended online classes. Despite studying at the same school since nursery, he had never formed many friendships, especially with girls, due to his shy nature.
One day during a class, the teacher called on a girl to answer a question that was relatively easy. Kisan knew the answer but was waiting for his turn. When he saw the girl’s name—Vishaka—his gaze shifted to her face, and he was taken aback by her beauty, a feeling that felt inexplicably profound. The teacher continued to prompt her, but she seemed to be struggling.
Feeling a rush of empathy, Kisan decided to help. He quickly sent her the answer through the personal chat feature. To his delight, she saw it and answered correctly. The teacher praised her, and Kisan felt an exhilaration he had never experienced before.
After that day, they exchanged numbers and began talking. Kisan soon realized that Vishaka was different from others; she didn’t judge people based on looks. While many classmates overlooked him and sometimes bullied him, she always saw beyond the surface. She was a princess without a crown—someone who made him feel valued.
As the final exams approached, their school reopened, allowing Kisan and Vishaka to meet in person. They began spending more time together, enjoying each other’s company and developing feelings that neither had expected. Their friendship deepened, creating a special bond that made Kisan feel cared for and appreciated, especially because of how she stood by him despite the cruelty he faced from others.
However, just before they could express their true feelings to one another, Vishaka called Kisan one evening. Her voice was shaky as she said, “I’m sorry.” Kisan felt a wave of confusion and dread wash over him. Without a clear understanding of what was happening, he implored her to explain, but she simply replied that she wouldn’t be coming to school anymore.
Days turned into weeks, and Vishaka didn’t pick up his calls or return to school. Kisan was in shock, grappling with the abrupt loss of someone who had become so important to him. After some time, he learned through their class teacher that she had left the school entirely.
“The final bell rang for the day,” and as students rushed to their bus rooms, Kisan felt like a ghost among them, his heart heavy with grief.
A few days later, his phone rang. It was his mother, saying there was someone named Vishaka trying to contact him. Heart racing, he ran downstairs and answered. “Why did you leave me alone?” he pleaded, tears rolling down his cheeks. Vishaka began crying too and explained that her father had received a transfer due to a promotion to Junior Manager at his company, and they were moving to a branch in Hong Kong.
“I didn’t have the strength to face you or even say goodbye,” she admitted. Kisan begged, “Can we meet again?” But she replied, “No, I’m at the airport now. I don’t know if we will ever see each other again, but you will always remain in my heart.”
With desperation in his voice, he said, “You were one of the best parts of my life. Wherever you go, just remember that someone loves you and would do anything for you.” Before they could say anything more, the call disconnected, leaving Kisan half-broken.
The next few months were excruciating for him. He felt lost in a whirlwind of emotions, struggling to recover from the heartbreak. At school, some classmates, particularly a boy named Raghav, started humiliating him more than ever before, taunting him about his feelings for Vishaka. They pushed him to his limits during classes, mocking him with painful comments that only deepened his sorrow.
Fortunately, two classmates, Raghavan and Kushal, noticed Kisan’s distress. They approached him with compassion, encouraging him to stand up for himself and reminding him that he was valued. With their support, Kisan learned to navigate the torment and began to focus on his studies again. Raghavan even helped him prepare for the upcoming Class 10 final exams, turning their study sessions into a source of encouragement and laughter.
When the school year ended, Kisan found solace in the assurance that he wasn’t alone. He successfully passed his Class 10 exams and eventually entered Class 11. But though Vishaka was never far from his thoughts, he promised himself that he would honor her memory by embracing new friendships and focusing on his future.
As he stepped into Class 11, Kisan was determined to cultivate strength from the pain of his past and approach this new chapter of his life with hope and open-mindedness, grateful for the support of the friends who had stood by him when he needed it the most and though he loved Vishaka a lot but at that time he was in just class 9th and mid of 10th his life was just started and never knew it could be an attraction and the life is not so small to end up so fast there are lots and lots of opportunities left in his life forward.
