Chapter 10: Power of the Soul

Makoto was laid out on his bed as he began to enter a deep train of thought. He was focused on everything that was going on. The investigation into the TV world and how women have been getting sucked into the world and dying. His recent marriage with Yukari, they were both fairly young but at the same time they were both now adults and could make their own choices. Yu was finally learning that he can rely on others for support and not have to do everything to protect those he cares about. Makoto thought about a great many things. "The multiverse could perhaps bring even more interesting events. I may have to ask Yu about entering his Velvet room." Makoto finally got out of bed and entered the dining room. Everyone was already sat at the table eating when he walked in.

"Sup dude. Glad to see you're awake. You've been sleeping in a lot lately." Junpei laughed as Makoto took a seat next to Akihiko. Mitsuru, Yukari, and Aigis were all sitting next to each other while Fuuka sat a bit off from them. Junpei and Chidori were sat together while Akihiko, Kotone, and Shinjiro were next to Makoto. The food looked like a master chef prepared it, Makoto figured that the Kirijo group hired the best chefs around the world to work for them. "So whats next in store for you and Yuka-tan?" Junpei asked. Yukari got really flushed as she looked at Makoto.

"Not sure, guess we'll see where the future takes us." Makoto quickly replied. Yukari gave a sigh of relief when he gave Junpei a cryptic answer. Junpei wasn't very enthusiastic about it but he left it alone due to being afraid Yukari would smack his head off. The rest of breakfast went by swiftly and everyone went on about their daily lives. Makoto made it a mission to speak to Yu about the Velvet room. He eventually gave Narukami a call asking him, "Hey Narukami. I wanted to ask you... Would it trouble you if you brought me to the Velvet room? I was meaning to ask Igor a few questions." Yu told him he had no issues with it and so they planned a meet-up. Makoto and Yu met each other near the shopping district as Yu showed Makoto the entrance to the Velvet room. It seemed the same as the one in Paulownia mall. Yu walked to the door and a woman came out. However she looked very different from Elizabeth.

"Ah Margaret, good to see you again. This is-" Just as Yu was about to introduce Makoto Margaret spoke past him. "Makoto Yuki. My sister has spoken quite a bit about you. My master has as well. According to him, you were his greatest guest he has ever had within the Velvet room. I must say it is a great honor to make your acquaintance." Yu was a bit confused about the conversation, but he caught on quick. Margaret was Elizabeth's sister and apparently Makoto was the greatest guest to visit the Velvet room. As the two entered, Makoto found that it wasn't the same Velvet room he's come to know. Rather it felt more like the back of a limo. "Ah I must say I'm rather surprised to see two wild card wielders in the Velvet room at the same time. It would seem that fate is not always correct," Igor spoke to both Makoto and Yu. 

Igor explained that Makoto has traveled across time on numerous occasions in an attempt to stop fate from those he cared about. He never said any names but he made it clear that Makoto was the most powerful persona wielder across time. He did speak a bit on how Makoto defeated death and saved the whole world from certain destruction. Yu was caught off guard by that bit of info. Had he known just how dangerous Makoto truly was he wouldn't have fought him. Igor also explained to them that they would have many hardships in the near future. The persona they sought was giving them a facade that he was a good person when he in fact was pretending to be a hero of justice. Yu knew that very second that it had to be Adachi who was the murderer. Makoto explained that rumors were floating about him cause he hates women who cheat on their significant others.

Makoto and Yu left the Velvet room as they felt deep within themselves a new bond awaken between them. The power of the Universe arcana awakened as they formed a true bond of friendship. Makoto gathered SEES, while Yu gathered the investigation team. The info would be a big hit to all of them. Adachi wasn't a close friend at all but he is a police officer who was killing women with the TV world in order to get revenge on the fact that he was heartbroken by the same thing. Makoto and Yu were ready for what laid ahead of them. The news would be a shock to everyone.
