Joy 2, laughing freely.

When he got back to his neighborhood in his friend Cho Seungyoun's car, Wang Yibo didn't speak a word. He instead chose to look through the window, admiring the dark scenery behind it as it unfolded before his eyes. He also got the chance this night to get a precise look at the moon floating in the starless sky. His eyes were glued to the night aster and this action only, lighted a fire of nostalgia inside his stomach. He also couldn't stop thinking about a certain someone's eyes.

He didn't even catch the time he made it to his apartment. Barely noticing his surroundings, he nearly fell a hundred times by climbing up the stairs, but he made it alive eventually. He then proceeded to pass out fully clothed on his bed, stretching himself like a starfish. The cold wind coming from the forgotten open window, gently stroking his face, giving a gentle atmosphere to the bedroom. The quiet sound the city emitted, added a comforting aura. It was so peaceful, perfect for a good night sleep.

And yet, Yibo didn't get an inch of sleep that night. Morpheus hasn't been charitable with him. He left him dealing with invasive thoughts that made him grow restless. That resulted in Yibo tossing and turning during the whole night.

The meeting between Xiao Zhan and him was planned at 2p.m so Yibo had enough time to get himself physically and mentally prepared for this big event, but he quickly found out that he couldn't move normally this day. Not with the idea of an inevitable encounter that he couldn't escape, except if he were to die right at this moment and also, the embarrassing kind of encounter taking place with an attractive human being like Xiao Zhan. Yibo is now wondering if he really can emotionally bear to keep being professional and dignified in front of Xiao Zhan, who he somehow discovered last night that he developed a little crush on him already.

But Yibo made it out of his house.

He took an unusual long-time walking in his district with Bad Girls by M.I.A. playing inside his headphones. When he went on walks, he always liked to gaze up to the sky, his vision would be decorated by the tree's branches and leaves, creating a nice painting, but today he didn't have the usual peacefulness in mind to enjoy this natural art installation. No, he couldn't think about anything but his and Xiao Zhan's encounter. He was drowning in thoughts, overthinking every step he would make during the meeting and felt stress invading his entire body and mind.

Yibo made it to the said café too early. He didn't faint this time, but it was a close call.

He didn't wait Xiao Zhan's arrival to sit in a quiet corner of the café even if he almost fell to the temptation of waiting him, because he was too shy to ask for a sit. Yibo cleared it by himself somehow and was therefore quite pleased with himself.

Xiao Zhan showed up.

He was so beautiful. So handsome. So gorgeous. So everything. Yibo felt his heart skip a beat and then beat ten time faster after his apparition. But tachycardia also engages feeling like dying. He couldn't recall how he normally proceeded to breath.

Ah yes. He also needed to stand up if he wanted Xiao Zhan to acknowledge him, because the poor guy was standing alone for five minutes already, trying to discern where Yibo was but seemed like he couldn't solve the quest. He showed his perfectly ready to make smile and Xiao Zhan installed himself comfortably in his seat. They ordered drinks, a big effort for Yibo but he didn't make anything visible. He wouldn't dare tell the magnificent boy in front of him that he was anxious about taking order and that he would much appreciate Xiao Zhan taking it for him, that it would be really sweet of him, etcetera. No. Impossible.
