Right when the last episode ended, the girls were presented with another one of the following text from the screen:
"You may be able to ask 3 questions."
Kanoko - "FINALLY! About damn time!" she exclaimed with folded arms.
With brief moment of chit-chat out of the way, they turn to the screen with a curious expression.
Ayumu - "J-Just who is this Sukuna guy, really?!" she asked confusingly, "It's like he hates Hiroki-senpai so much!"
"A relative among one of you."
That made the girls' blood run cold.
Sukuna? The King of Curses? A relative among one of them?
Kanoko - "A-... What?" she blinked in disbelief.
Nao - "One... One of us?" she gulped, feeling tensed for some reason.
As much as they want to ask who, they do not want to waste their remaining questions. And so, they chose to ask a more relevant one instead.
Kanoko - "Hold on a second..." she blinked upon realizing something, "Didn't they said about... Kaede being on the screen?"
That caused the girls to pause to think, before looking at the very perplexed Kaede.
Ayumu - "Wait, if Fushiguro said that he met Kaede there... then who are you?" she blinked in suspicion.
Kaede - "E-Eh? B-But I am Kaede?!" she defended with an answer as genuine as her confused look.
"There will be a fake copy replacing you four back at home. We have assured they act and behave the exact same way as you four."
Ayumu - "...Eh?" she tilted her head in confusion.
Nao - "So essentially, a doppleganger." she concluded with a pocker face.
Kanoko - "That's... pretty creepy, not gonna lie." she folded her arms with a sweatdrop, "I mean, having the exact clone replacing us in the real world while we're just... here? Wouldn't that make us look like the fake one?"
