I had decided on taking Wally to an apple orchard since apples are one of his favorite things. We had to take the bus, which ended up taking over an hour to get there, but I think it was worth it. The whole ride he begged me to tell him where we were going, but I didn't budge.
Eventually we made it there and got out.
"Oh my apples, what is this place!" Wally spun around in a circle, grabbing my hand and forcing me to spin too. "It's call Happy Apple's Apple Orchard." I answered. "Well this might just be the best place on the planet." He was still holding my hand while we made it to the entrance. There was a building in the shape of an apple. We stepped inside and was imedently greeted by an apple mascot.
"I'm Happy Apple, owner of Happy Apple's Apple orchard, want an autograph little buddy?" The man asked. At first I was confused at the nickname, but I forgot that on Earth Wally is smaller. Wally turned to face me, giving me a weird smile. Then he turned back to the man and took a mental bite out of his apple suit. Luckily the man didn't get hurt, but he did panic.
"He told me he was Happy Apple.." Wally frowned. "Well not actually, it was just a costume." I let out a chuckle and led him farther into the building.
"There's a lot of fun things we can do here. We could bob for apples, ride the apple train, eat apples, get apple themed suviners..What sounds most fun to you?" I asked. "Well can we do all of it?" Wally suggested. "Of course."
I bought the 2 of us tickets so we could board the train. It was a nice design, with the conductor's area being shapped as an apple, and the passengers car's were normal but red. Wally and I got a seat in the front, like right behind the condutor.
"So on our left coming up with be the water park. " The conductor said into a microphone. Wally tapped his back and the conductor turned around. He looked like his was in his 70's.
"Can I drive the train?" Wally asked the man. "Of course not, I would get fired if everyone on here died." The old man shook his head. "Please?" Wally took the man's hat and put it on his own head. "No!" The man yelled.
"Hey, Y/n, watch this. " Wally smiled. Before he could do anything the conductor turned around to face us. "I already told you--" The man paused. "Of course you can drive." He smiled and stopped the train, getting out. Wally crawled out of his seat and into the driver seat.
I turned around to see the passengers causing a comotion because of their confusion, but honestly I was with them. "Y/n can I sit on your lap? I can't see." Wally spoke into the microphone. I climbed out of my seat and walked to the driver's apple. "Wally, how did you do that?" I asked, my mouth gaping open. Wally frowned and ignored my question. "Can I sit on your lap? I can't see." He repeated.
Suddenly I had the urge to listen to him, even though I knew it wasn't safe. "Of course." I smiled and picked him up, placing him on my lap. "I also need you to control the petals while I do the stering." Wally instructed.
Honestly I don't know what happened after that. Like, I seriously can't even tell you because I have no memory of it. I don't remember getting off the train, picking apples, leaving the orchard to go back home, or even going to sleep that night. I don't rember a thing, but it apparently happened.
