Marjorie:
I knew maddison was coming to visit, but she wanted to see charlotte first, which was okay! I waited in my office as I finished working on some extra stuff. I had let autumn leave early so she could get ready for her date night with winter.
Around half an hour of waiting, a knock came from the office door, and in the doorway was maddison!
Marjorie: "Hi, my love!"
Maddison walked in and stood next to the desk where i was.
Maddison: "Hey, marjorie! How are you!"
Marjorie: "I'm great! How about you?"
Maddison: "I'm fantastic! And I've also heard you're no longer on any dating apps!"
Marjorie: "Charlotte you..."
I said in a whisper, "Yeah, I'm now it a relationship!"
Maddison: "That's great to hear! I'm happy for you, "
Marjorie: "Why don't you sit down and we can talk!"
I pulled autumn's chair so Maddison could sit down, and we began talking!
Maddison: "I've heard bits and pieces from what has or well had been going on around here. What's been happening?
I started telling all the craziness that had been going on between the knight nursery, the sister nursery, and the board. I also told maddison about the merger that is going to be happening really soon, and oddly, she didn't see surprised.
Maddison: "Well then! I guess we will be seeing each other more often!"
Before I could speak, I noticed maddison checked the time, and she spoke again.
Maddison: "Well, I best be off. I don't want to be home late for my dinner with my wife!"
Marjorie: "Of course I don't want to keep you, it was nice seeing ypu maddison! And don't be a stranger."
I watched her as she stood up
Maddison: "All right! Cya Marjorie!"
Marjorie: "Cya!"
Maddison walked out of the room and headed to the car park, and all I could think about was what maddison meant by "seeing each other more often." She never told me the nurseries name, which she was going to be transferring to, so I have no idea if she works adult the 3rd nursery that is a part of the merger. I guess we will have to wait and see.
