People were talking in a hushed tone as Pierre walked over us with a bouquet of flowers. Lorenzo stands up followed by almost his brothers, Gio, Kai Alessandro and Diego.
Guards were coming from everywhere to the garden. I slightly push my chair backwards as I look around me, Lorenzo gestures to me with his hand for me to sit.
"How can I help you Laurent." Lorenzo says with a tone that would send shivers down if I was in Pierre's position.
"Well I'm here to celebrate your engagement." Pierre says excitedly giving the bouquet to me, before I can take it Lorenzo snatches it out of my hand and hands it to a guard.
Isabella rounds the table to us as her face was relaxed but deep inside she was fuming.
"My sweet little granddaughters." Pierre exclaims turning towards Alice and Stella.
Alice looked pissed while Charles was fuming next to her. Stella rolled her eyes at Pierre.
"Get the fuck out of my mansion." Charles warns Pierre but he ignores Charles at all and walks towards Alice with open arms.
"My sweet little boy, you're so grown up." Hannah smiles at us as she approaches us with something in her hands.
Oh hell no.
She places the red velvet box in front of me and smiles at me. "You look so beautiful my gorgeous daughter-in-law." She says a bit emotionally.
I don't take any of it, if she can play I can do the same, I furrow my eyebrows together. "I think you misunderstood the situation, Lorenzo never mentioned you as his mother."
"Excuse me!" She exclaims in pure shock. "You heard her." Lorenzo shrugs his shoulder and wraps a hand around my waist.
"Laurent go and don't make things worse." Father says calmly but there was a tone in his voice that was threatening him, he leans against his chair.
Pierre burst into a laughter and goddamn I feel shivers going through my whole body.
"Soit we had our time here son." He huffs shrugging his shoulders in disbelief. "We have business to do."
He takes Hannah in his hand and looks at the both of us. "Luzia and Lorenzo, I wish the same ending as the both of your parents. Love never dies." He chuckles
I register what he meant and I feel like I'm being slapped across my face.
"Now it's time for you three to leave the property or I'll make sure that you'll regret that you stepped a foot here." Mother Isabella says trying to stay calm.
I feel my heart beat faster, Lorenzo pushes me to his side protectively, his jaw clenched as he was watching them.
They turn around and walk away from the property, guards were following them close by making sure that they leave.
