"ASTRID," BLAIRE SAID through the door, "i just want to make sure you're alright."
"she knows i am," astrid mumbled against theo.
he sighed, "she cares for you."
"astrid, please." blaire knocked again. "draco is worried too."
astrid had spent the past few days holed up in theo's room. she didn't go to classes and didn't talk to anyone. theo had taken her phone after he found her sobbing on the bathroom floor reading comments.
"i'm gonna go talk to them." theo pressed a kiss to her forehead and slipped out of bed.
"oh thank go- theo." draco blinked.
"this is my dorm."
"right." blaire stood on her toes, trying to see astrid, "can we talk to her now?"
theo stepped out of the room and pulled the door closed behind him, "she's not ready to go see everyone again."
"we're not everyone." draco said. "she's my twin sister."
"i get that, i really do. but she doesn't want to talk to anyone."
"and she wants to talk to you?" draco spat. "you're the reason this whole thing happened in the first place."
"i'm not about to do this with you, draco. what happened was no one's fault but his. you can be upset with me; i don't care. but astrid does not want to see you or anyone else. that's all there is to say."
"can you just tell her that we love her?" blaire asked. "and that we're here for her when she's ready for us?"

"do you think i'm a whore?" astrid asked.
"what?" theo opened his eyes.
astrid sat in between his legs, moving the bubbles around the tub. "cause i cheated on mattheo? and i let you post all of those things. or maybe a slut? i'm not exactly sure what the difference is."
"astrid," he turned her to face him. "you are not a slut and not a whore. i hate that you could think that way about yourself."
"they all think i am," her voice cracked.
"and the day before that they were calling you 'mother' and talking about how hot you were. those people don't know you at all. they only know what is put out online."
the blonde didn't say anything, just moved forward to hug her boyfriend.
