I was having a pretty normal day. It had been around 2 weeks since the others and I woke up, I was watching bbc Sherlock Holmes on my many monitors while Quackers sat on my head. That was until I heard a knock at my flat's door...
Following the knock, there was a quiet shuffling of feet, the silence. I stretched out of my office chair and started to trudge toward the door. When my fingers undid the lock, I pulled it open to reveal all too familiar faces.
"Shuichi Saihara, what took you so long to answer the door?!" Maki demanded. She was about half my size, but she still terrified me. "We've been waiting out here for 50 minutes." Maki snapped at me bitterly, I saw that my 2 visitors were soaking wet, so I moved aside to let them both in.
Kaito sighed gratefully at the warmth of the apartment as he walked inside while Maki went to go get Kaito some hot chocolate. That was about the time that Kaito noticed Quackers.
"Why do you have a duck on your head?" Kaito spoke up, sounding confused. "I thought that Kokichi was the one with the duck obsession?" Kaito added on, sounding unsure of himself
"I actually got him from Kokichi, or at least past Kokich. He's just always on my head now. He's my little companion!" I explained while Quackers quacked happily. I sat down beside Kaito, waiting for Maki to return.
