after dropping dusty I head back to the house to take of the animals on the ranch texted carter to see if he wants to come over and help with thing around here for the day, he said yeah a few after I pulled into the drive see him pulling in
"Hey how was your date" carter said getting out of his truck "it was good mama take hazel for night, but we had a great night" I said walking to the barn with him "that good she seems loke a nice girl" he said "Yeah was your night' I said like I didn't see his truck at Dusty's
"It was nice went out to my mom's" he said "bro don't lie seen your truck at dusty this morning" I said putting hazel in her walker that I keep in the barn
"I went to my girl ok what were you doing dropping her off this morning" he asked " she stayed over last night because by the time we were done cleaning up it late, so she stayed that all" I said knowing he's not going to say anything because I know he was just see his girl last night
"Well let's get these chores done so we get stuff we need for next week ready" I said grabbing some hay.
thinking about dusty I'm kind of glad I found her she the sweets girl I could ask for she treats hazel like her own and didn't have to, but she did, and I couldn't ask for a better girl for me "hey you going to tell me where you meant Dusty" I hear carter say
"She helped me get away for hazel mom she come over and said she was my girlfriend when she didn't have to, but she did" I said
remembering that day like it was yesterday just to think that she saved me that day and I saved her ex, and she still want to be with me I'm going to make my girl I don't have any ideas, but I'll think
"Hey carter you know any ways to ask a girl to yours " I said as I grabbed hazel as we shut up the bar n for the night "why you want to ask hazel to be your girl" he said holding out his hands want to take hazel
"Yeah, I want to make her mine, but I need ideas to ask her I might have one, but I don't know" I said handing hazel to him
" Well do the idea you have what the worst thing that can happen she say no" he said "ok thanks for the help I'm going to get started on dinner we're having chicken" I said going in the house to get the chicken as carter started the grill.
as I was seasoning the chicken eh come in the house let me know that he got the grill going a few minutes after that I had the chicken on the grill making us dinner going
"You should get a dog " hear carter say " and why is that" I said looking at him "well it could play with hazel then it can help you with cattle when it bigger" he said trying to make his point
"And who's going take care of it when we are in the road, I already have hazel so maybe when she older" I said not that hazel hard now that she is getting older but it still a lot of work
"Ok did you that dusty has a dog his name moose" he said " no I've been in her house long to see if there was a dog because the first time, I was over there was to pick her up" I said getting up to check the chicken
"Yeah, he so sweet he an Australian shepherd mix" he said I bet he is I mean meant I've meant him before I just don't remember
"Well dinner done if you want get her well, I take this food in I said opening the door heading to the kitchen to put the chicken as carter put hazel in her highchair before walking over to get his food well, I cut up some for hazel before getting my food and sitting down with them to eat " you have to do dishes" I said before dig in "ok" he said
After a while we're done eating and carter got started and dishes while I got hazel ready for bed once she was asleep, I went back downstair grabbing a beer from the refrigerator heading to the living room "so how you meet your girl" I asked carter
"At a bar after she found out her ex cheated on her and Dusty was gone walked up to her to see if she needed someone to talk and I don't know why someone would break her heart she a sweet girl" he said looking at his phone probably at picture of her
"Well, I'm going to bed I'll see you in the morning" I said getting up out if the chair I was sitting in "yeah see you in the morning" he said laying down on the couch where he always sleeps no matter how many times, I say I've got a bed for him I check on hazel one last time before going to bed for the night.

two updates in one week it hard for me to write these chapters around school because I go in person once a week and having to get drive time in, but I'm hopefully well have this book finished by new year of because I'll be getting busy with my show animals by then.
