Stan: "We need to be smart about this. Simon's reaction was off, but we can't jump to conclusions without more evidence."
Kyle: "Agreed. Let's split up again. Some of us can follow Simon while the rest dig deeper into his background and connections."
Tweek: "I'll keep an eye on Simon. He knows me, so maybe I can get him to talk."
They decided to split into two groups. Tweek and Craig would follow Simon, while Kyle, Stan, and Wendy would gather more information about his potential connections to the victims. As they left Tweek's house, they noticed a few new faces around the neighbourhood. A couple of new families had moved into town recently, including Simon's neighbours, Millie and Lauren, who were often seen around the local park.
Kyle: "Hey, let's talk to those new kids. They might have noticed something unusual."
They approached Millie and Lauren, who were sitting on a bench near the park. They seemed friendly enough, so Stan, Kyle and Wendy introduced themselves.
Stan: "Hi, I'm Stan, and these are my friends Kyle and Wendy. We're looking into some things that have been happening around town. Have you noticed anything strange?"
Millie: "Actually, yes. We've seen Simon acting weird a lot lately. He's always sneaking around and looks really nervous."
Lauren: "He's been avoiding us, too. We thought maybe he just didn't like us, but it seems more than that."
Their observations matched what The group had already suspected. Stan, Kyle and Wendy all thanked them for their help and decided to follow up with some teachers and students at school.
Teacher: "Simon's grades have been slipping, and he's been absent a lot. I've tried talking to him, but he just shuts down."
Student: "I saw Simon arguing with Ronnie a few times. They never got along."
The pieces were starting to fit together, but they needed something concrete. As they headed back to Tweek's house to regroup, Craig and Tweek arrived with updates on Simon.
Craig: "We followed Simon after school. He went to an old, abandoned building on the edge of town. It looked like he was meeting someone."
Tweek: "We couldn't see who it was, but they were definitely up to something."
They decided to investigate the building the next day. As night fell, they all gathered their supplies and made a plan. They would approach the building in pairs, with one group watching from a distance while the other went inside. The next day, They met at the edge of town. The building loomed in front of them, its broken windows and crumbling walls adding to the sense of foreboding. They split into pairs—Tweek and Craig would go inside, while Kyle, Stan and Wendy kept watch from a nearby hill.
Wendy: "Be careful, guys. If anything goes wrong, we need to be ready to help."
Tweek and Craig crept towards the building, their footsteps barely audible on the gravel path. Kyle, Stan and Wendy, settled into their vantage point, using binoculars to keep an eye on the surroundings.
Stan: "I hope they find something useful in there."
Kyle: "Me too. This place gives me the creeps."
Minutes felt like hours as they watched. Suddenly, Tweek and Craig emerged, looking shaken but determined.
Craig: "We found something. There's a hidden room in the basement. It's filled with notes, pictures, and... other disturbing things."
Tweek: "It looks like someone's been planning these attacks for a long time. We need to get Officer Howard down here."
They quickly contacted Officer Howard and waited anxiously for his arrival. When he showed up, we led him to the hidden room. His face grew stern as he examined the evidence.
Officer Howard: "This is big. We need to analyse everything here. You kids did good, but from now on, let me handle this. It's too dangerous."
As they left the building, a sense of dread settled over them. The threat was more real than ever, and they knew, they were far from safe. The group had to stay vigilant and keep digging, no matter the cost. Back at Tweek's house, they gathered to debrief and plan their next steps.
Kyle: "We need to keep an eye on Simon, but we also need to find out who he's working with. This isn't just one person."
Stan: "Agreed. Let's talk to more people who knew the victims. Maybe someone else saw something."
Over the next few days, the group canvassed the town, talking to anyone who might have information. They learned that Simon had been seen arguing with multiple people, not just Ronnie. His behaviour had become increasingly erratic, and he had started avoiding even his closest friends.
During this time, they also grew closer to Millie and Lauren. They became their allies, eager to help us uncover the truth. Millie, with her sharp instincts, often spotted things the rest of them missed, while Lauren's calm demeanour helped keep them grounded.
One evening, they were all gathered at Tweek's house, Millie shared something that sent chills down their spines.
Millie: "I was going through some old photos and found this." She handed them a picture of Simon with a group of people we didn't recognize. "These were his friends from his old school. One of them went missing a few years ago. They never found out what happened to him."
Tweek: "What if Simon was involved in that too?"
Kyle: "It's possible. We need to find out more about these people and what happened at his old school."
Just then, Craig burst into the room, out of breath.
Craig: "I've been following Simon. He's meeting someone at the old warehouse again tonight. We need to go, now."
They grabbed Their gear and headed out, the urgency of the situation driving them forward. As they approached the warehouse, the group saw Simon and a shadowy figure inside. This time, we were determined to catch them in the act.
Stan: "This is it. We need to be careful. We can't let them get away."
With a mix of fear and determination, they moved closer, ready to uncover the truth and face whatever dangers awaited them.
