Polycity. A peaceful place. The alive polygons that wander around the city, some off to go to work, some others talking, going on with their daily lives. It was all normal, and peaceful.

However, there was a specific individual that grew TIRED and BORED of the continuous routine that everyone had every single day. They were even agitated by the amount of simplicity. Their patience was running out. There was countless ways you could describe their impulsive boredom.

And they needed to do something about it.

They watched from the shadows, seeing what they could do to make things.. more exciting. They stalked several residents, but then saw something that could be a great idea for a fun experiment. It wasn't a someone... It was a something.

A poster of a restaurant where someone dressed up in a suit promoting their food place. This sparked something in their brain, and they wickedly smiled, thinking their idea. But they needed a host for the place.

They looked all around, watching people, seeing their talents. But then they saw someone. Someone PERFECT for the job.

The round shape looked at his square friend, writing down ideas for a shop for the both of them, so they could both earn money during the summer.

"H- Hey Circle, you... finished?"

Square looked almost timidly at his best friend as he asked the question. Circle smiled at him, replying with a reassuring look in his eyes.

"Nah, I just started, you know that! Well, I'm making great progress so far, take a look!

Circle handed the sheet of paper to the four sided figure. He took a look, reading the ideas with all his attention. He looked back at him, having a soft smile on his face.

"Yeah... good work.."

Circle looked at him with pride, patting him in the head, a big proud smile strapped to his face.

"See? Just watch, and I'll brainstorm as much ideas as POSSIBLE! And trust me, as a great leader, I'll always make it happen! Just... make some fliers for us, okay? I know you're great at drawing."

Square's soft smile became larger. He would always feel better because of his motivating words. Being the more shy, and less confident shape of the duo, he did need a great leader. He got some papers, and started drawing. Circle smiled at him, almost like a proud father. He then went back to his own paper, writing ideas, actually really fast, the both still not noticing the one in the shadow watching them, interested.

This was it. The people they needed for the job. Eventually they both left the area, leaving a few of the papers behind. The one in the shadow grabbed the papers, and a pencil left behind by the quadrilateral. They looked at a lot of the ideas, some bad, some actually good, but that circle didn't desire them. They grabbed a blank sheet of paper, writing down a letter for that great planner.

Meanwhile, the two were strolling around the city, walking pleasantly under the sweet summer sky, a breeze rolling around. One was simply rolling, while the other was hopping along the pathway. They then stopped near Circle's house, and started writing their plans, and drawing their pictures. The day eventually transitioned into evening.

"Hey, Square, Buddy?"

"Y- Yeah?

"I think you should go home soon, you need to get rest, Square."

Square almost pouted, sad that they needed to go home, and not have fun preparing for the shop.

"I'm not a chilllldd... I m- mean, yeah, okay!"

He mentally backed out in the end, scared if he might mess up something, and end their friendship! In fact, it might even make Circle hate him! Or even worse, he might ev-

"Square? Hello?"

Circle's words cut him off from thinking anything else.

"W- Y- Yeah, Circle?"

Circle had a slightly worried expression, he could see the nervousness in his friend's eyes.

"You.. want me to walk you home tonight? I know how scareeed you are of the evening before night!"

Circle teased, having a smug expression. Square sighed, being a pushover, he agreed to literally almost anything.

"Y- Yeah, okay."

"Aw come on! You don't have just a little fight in you? You just agreeing with anything isn't that fun!"

"Just take me h- home... already."

"Alright, Square. Gotta give what my friend wants!"

Circle rolled out to the sidewalk, but his timid friend was staying put.

"Hey, Square? You gonna... come with?"

Square, being in thought, paused for a few seconds, before taking a breath, hopping over to the sidewalk, right by Circle.

"There you go! Now let's go!"

They both started to walk on the path of the stone sidewalk, with Circle rolling right ahead, with Square hopping right behind him. Eventually, they arrived at Square's house.

"You have a nice sleep, okay?"

"I will..."

"Good!"

Circle pats Square's back, letting him go into the house, smiling proudly at him, before rolling back to his house.

Arriving back on the yard of his house, seeing a letter in front of his door. Reading it, looking at in confusion. Something about "a deal?" He looks in the shadows, thinking what he wants to do.
