"Hay nerm! Are you ready to go?" Jack yelled out from outside the shop."Hmm!" Nerm yelled back, putting his book away and walking outside. Jack stood there holding a picnic basket in one hand and a red and white blanket under his other arm. "I found the perfect spot yesterday." nerm smiled and followed.
Jack led nerm to a hill on the outskirts of beacon town, with a large tree at the vary top "amazing, right?" Jack opened the blanket and laid it down under the tree and sat the basket down. "Mhmh!" Nerm nodded and sat down, looking down at beacon town, which the hill had a perfect view of. They could even see there shop "oh wow, sometimes I forget how Beacon Town really is." Jack sat down next to nerm and opened the basket, handing nerm a shiny red apple and a cup of apple juice."Hm!" Nerm smiled and took a bite of the apple."You're welcome, " Jack replied and did the same to a slice of warm pumpkin pie.
The two watched the townspeople walk through beacon town, radar following jesse with a stack of papers in his arms, Lukas sitting on the roof of his house, nose deep into a book, Petra practice fighting some hay dummies "......I'm glad we're have this" Jack let out a small sigh "hmm..." nerm agreed as the two ate.
After an hour or two, they cleaned up the basket and blanket and headed back home.
The two agreed that they would go on picnics more often.
