︎Flash back♥︎

I remember that night like it replayed in my head over and over again the pain the anger the trauma always came flooding back when I see one of those in the sky you can see the winds you can hear them but chasing them wasn't always a good idea

I could feel the wind come rushing down threw the field the home I once knew crashed and stucked Up into this large gaping hole that spun around in a circle clearing everything in its way the screams of people filled my Mind as they ran for thier lives only for them to get sucked up into the tornado it may not seem terrifying stopping one but being inside a E5 and live to see the next day is rare I remember it like it was yesterday I could feel the scar on my shoulder down my back burn as it flashed threw my mind

My hair blew with the wind as it sped up faster and faster my arms cluched the metal pipe the white pipe that slowly became rusted over the years the barn had blew into peices as the dark cloud zoomed threw the filed picking everything up with it it was like my life was flashing before my eyes......

Present day

Tyler and me and Florence had sat at the kitchen table at mine and Tyler's old home ever snice that tornado came threw a few years ago its been different it hasn't felt like home mom passed away a few years ago the memories of out childhood played threw my mind as I watched Tyler look around the house we used to call home

Dad's old chair rested on the right of the couch the same one that Tyler had broke as kids from running and jumping on it you can still see the bricks dad placed the coffee table carries our Baby pictures moms favorite plant hung above it the cow printed rug rested under the old coffee table

Mom's books rested on the bookshelf where dad's old fishing stuff stayed his small odds and ends rested on the dust coverd shelfs the inside was like a cabin in the woods just well taken care of

Tyler looked at with the look he gave us as kids when mom and dad used to fight about me and Tyler we were trouble makers but the day the tornado  ame threw here and killed dad we turned out life's around Kate had placed her hand on Tyler's shoulder as he looked at her Florence staring me down from a distance...

"It feels weird being home after so many years"

my voice had spoken as a small Crack came to it I could feel myself Crack as I remember moms long blonde hair swaying in the wind her long red and white sun dress sway as her old brown mud worn out boots rested on the front porch
