keegan greene has always had a charm to him, straight out of the womb. he's got a natural personality, something no one taught him. keegan is a personable, fun-loving character, who's laugh can reach every corner of the room. he's a very energetic being. a hype man, making everything feel lighthearted and bright. he's good at calming the storms even when his twin sister actively works against him. but, key tries to get along with everyone, actively learning about their own stories. he's has always had a sense of belonging everywhere he goes.

however, high school has changed him. not drastically, but enough to give him an addiction to popularity. being the king bee has its perks: he has his triage of loyal minions and he's always picked first, whether it be in sports or relationships. that type of power can get to anyone. now, instead of trying to be inclusive, key uses manipulation tactics to test if he can trust someone. his heart isn't so pure now that he's given everything he wants. middle school was difficult for him, the older boys teased him and tricked him. now he secretly suffers with anxiety, making sure it doesn't happen to him again.

the people keegan lets get close to him, just know he trusts them the most. he'd do anything for his friends including bailing them out of irresponsible situations. it's where keegan's charm and false trust comes into play. it's why he's king, people listen to him.

now, he's a bit of a player — every school has one. but keegan likes to keep his flings on the down low, so no one would really know who's he's been with or that he actively pursues multiple people at a time.
he's never really been a serious relationship, simply because keegan is ashamed of what he's becoming, of /who/ he's becoming. his anxiety takes control and key makes sure nothing stays permanent.

coming from old money, keegan greene was essentially set for life from the moment he was born. his mother, a hardworking farmhand eventually traded in her tractor for a porsche when her parents died. she sold the farm, moved to the city and snagged an office job where she slowly but surely made it to the top. his father on the other hand, was bathed in riches inside his penthouse from a young age. opposites attracted when the two met. his mother, rough around the edges but willing to go the extra mile to be financially stable, and his father, well he stumbled upon her right when he was ready to settle down. sometimes they don't get along — she's stubborn and independent whilst he is arrogant and flashy. but there was always love. silently, growing each day they fought through their differences. keegan's older sister was a surprise. a product of their darkest times, but the light at the end of the tunnel. his parents adored this baby. so much that keegan and his twin sister were planned. his parents wanted a bigger family, and they got it when they had twins.

after his younger brother was born, their family was complete. his mother quit her job after continuous nagging from his father, sometimes keegan can see the regret in her face. she was always a business woman, but she loved her family more. keegan had grown close to his mother when he was little, he'd always be the helping hand, making sure his siblings stayed in line. his mother adored him for it.

growing up was a breeze. keegan was rewarded for good deeds and bad. he was more conscious about spending money than his sisters, but he would always buy what he wanted in the end. his father isn't a bad man, but he wasn't a very good father either. work came first, always. money came second, and then his love for his wife was third. the kids we content being lower on the scale, they always had more fun with their mother and nanny's anyways.
