"Yawnn" I wake up tense and instinctively stretch my arms out above my head and out to the sides, arching my back and flexing my feet indulging in a deep, heavy yawn, open mouthed and sloppy. I hold my figure for a solid thirty seconds before flopping back down onto my soft feathery pillow and humm a sigh of delight. There is a stream of shimmering golden sunlight streaming through the stained glass window, leaving shadowy geometric shapes on the aisle of wood separating my bunk and Milly's bunk. I adjust my gaze to Milly's bunk where her sheets lay tousled and in dis-array. I check the watch on my night table, its half past seven in the morning. Breakfast would be served and the rest of the school must be absorbing the taste of juicy sausages and buttered toast. A wave of frustration washes over me as I think of last night's conversation with Milly and Eve combined with the fact that Mily didn't shake me awake this morning. I attempt to sit up and eventually accept my failure, relaxing back under my covers and squeezing my eyes closed to shut out the light.

When I had slightly succeeded in pulling my hair up into an elastic and pulled on my robe, I decided to start the long trek from the Slytherin dormitories to the greenhouse. I sling my already packed bag over my shoulder and start walking. The corridors are quiet but the halls are alive with colorful paintings, wandering lonely in the halls is like retracing my steps in an old dream. The moment Draco had winked at me replayed in my mind as clear as any one of the paintings hanging along the walls. His slow swagger, the way he turned his head and then the way he winked. Slow, gentle, and absolutely gorgeous. I shake the thought from my mind and return to marveling at the paintings and finally reach where the open halls meet the clear morning air. When I reach the greenhouse I find professor Sprout muttering to herself and pacing around the greenhouse pointing her wand at various plants. Sometimes murmuring incantations causing the plants leaves to become a deeper shade of green or the soil to become damper. I stand at the entrance watching her work with an eerie calm about her. When she turns to pace up one of the aisles she shreaks, jumping back and holding on to the ledge of a table of herbs. "Good morning Professor Sprout!" I say brightly ignoring her little 'episode'. "Ah yes, Ms.Farigold" she clutches her chest forcing a small smile. I choose a place to stand around the table, where today we have large cone shaped plants in small brick red pots. I set my bag at my feet and lean my back against the table. Eventually others start filtering in chatty and full. Which is when my stomach reminds me I'm rather hungry by letting out a low growl. I rub it with the palm of my hand and groan unhappily turning towards the door. Every time I hear footsteps I hope that Milly or Eve come in bubbly and I turn towards the door. I hear little clicks and thuds coming towards the open greenhouse door and I keep my eyes glued to it. My heart takes quite a shock when I see a pale head of wheat blonde hair and piercing blue eyes come in. I try to draw my eyes away, towards a plant, towards ANYTHING! I can't try as I might and before I can blink two electrifying blue eyes find their way towards me and a smile tugs on the corner of my lips. I look down but I still feel his steamy hot gaze. I look back up and sure enough his eyes are tearing through me, I stare right back until he gives in. He smiles shyly and heads towards his spot.

Today I pay extra good attention as to help restrain myself from glancing at Draco. It takes everything in me to just keep misting my plant and trimming the leaves. Eve and Milly never showed up, I have no idea what there doing but honestly I don't need anything else to think about in this moment. Finally when I'm happy with the complexion of my plant I indulge in a glance. I peak up from behind my plant and see his angular jawline and sharp chin, his hair hanging to his cheekbones. I melt.. or maybe just drool when I see him run a gloved hand through his hair in frustration at the freckled complexion of his plant. I become instantly horrified when I see him start to look back up but I can't avert my eyes, he's a magnet. I'm a pathetic, uncontrollable piece of metal and he is a beautiful magnet covered in moppy blonde hair. He looks up at me smiling and tilts his head to one side and his hair follows swishing when he moved. He continues working on his plant to my immediate disappointment. Class goes by quickly and before I know it I'm packing up and leaving the classroom. When I exit my first thought was to go see where Milly and Eve were, they I'm sure would be excited by the little glances I shared with Draco, though they meant nothing. The second I pass threw the doorway I feel like I have been wafted with a wave of fresh autumn air. I inhale deeply and let it out with a whoosh, pulling my scarf up over my chin, just covering my bottom lip. I am even more tired than when I fell asleep last night. Probably doesn't help, that I didn't eat anything. I have the fleeting thought of skipping my next class to go find some food and silently shame myself for thinking it. I have transfiguration next.. ugh. I get ready for some serious doodling and of course the "middle-of-boring-lecture-snooze".

As I walk I hear loud yelps and laughs from somewhere behind me. Draco is of course at it again. I sigh, and then he walks by me and I suck in my breath. He slows his pace and he's next to me, about two feet away. We aren't really "walking together" but to my gathering frustration my stomach tightens and my palms become clammy, the disappointing reality is that, even though you may be a wizard your still a human. I keep my eyes trained in front of me as I feel his body grow closer to mine.

"Mickey, right?" he asks, his face turned towards mine.

"Um, yeah, right." I reply. My eyes are still facing in front of me but he continues to talk to the side of my face.

"And you know who I am," He says this almost like a question.

"Of course, your Draco, the Malfoy boy." I surprise myself with my sudden confidence and I look him right in the face.

"Yeah, heh, that's me," He says waftily, "well, see you around.", he waits for my response before catching up with his goons.

"Sure will," I smile at him and for a split second I swear he blushes but he is quick to resume his arrogant swagger and walks off to walk with Crabbe and Goyle.
