"No, to answer your question Mr. Elliot, I don't recall there being an issue between pixies and the Common Welsh Green. What an odd question. I mean dragons..." magical creatures was the last thing on my mind and Flitwicks
words slowly faded away. My stomach was bubbling and fluttering and I had to sink my teeth into my bottom lip to stop the idiotic smile tempting to cover the entire bottom of my face. I could feel him looking at me and smiling. I chance a look and he looks down blushing a little. I hear the infamous Harry potter talking urgently to the ginger and Draco looks up and rests his chin in his hands. "Oh, Potter, do you fancy the Weasley here?" he bats his eyelashes a couple times. It takes every bone in my body not to burst into laughter. "Shut up Malfoy," he spits and looks back at his friend. Draco looks away with distaste written all over his face. When class is over I tiredly grab my stuff and I walk with Eve because we haven't had an actual conversation since everything. When I grab her arm she starts giggling, "Michaela I can't believe you and Draco!" she whispers with a huge smile. "Oh really? Why is that?" Draco is standing behind me with pink cheeks and twinkling eyes. He doesn't care for Eve's answer and he just looks at me, "May I walk with my girlfriend please?" he asks Eve, while still looking down at me. I lift myself onto my tiptoes and grab his face with my hands and kiss him gently. "Ugh fine." Eve grunts and stomps away. He slips his hand into mine and we walk down the hallway. Part way down the hallway I decide to ask what had been plaguing my mind ever since we coupled up. "Do you think we rushed into this?" He stops. "Do you?" his face hardens just slightly, "I don't want to break up or anything-" he lets go of my hand, "BREAK UP?" his eyebrows furrow and he frowns most noticeably. "Draco no! That's the last thing I want- hear me out. I want this to last as long as possible, its just usually when you get together so quickly it doesn't last very long." I exhale and he looks at me. He doesn't say anything he just pulls me into a hug as the remaining students in the corridor rush to get to class. "We're late." he whispers. But we keep standing. He pushes me off a little. "Mickey, I've actually liked you for awhile, but I am kind of a notorious coward." He gives me a sheepish half smile, "So you may feel like we rushed into this but, I've been waiting for this for awhile."I kiss his cheek, "Lets go to class."
When we reach the door to Snape's dungeon I groan. "I don't want to go in there."
"Snape likes me, let me go in first and follow close behind he'll let us sit without a problem." He smirks. "Alright." I frown and duck in behind Draco. Horrified I realize that I'll have to walk all the way to the front to get to the second open seat. It's next to Milly. I imagine Milly fighting off anyone trying to sit in my seat with her signature sass. I walk as quietly as possible to the seat and take out my book opening carefully to the page Milly had hers open too. I look over to see how Draco is doing, he has his book open and quill ready.
"Sorry Milly, we got caught up." I whisper while looking at my book and keeping my lips as still as possible. I don't need any more attention. "Yeah, yeah" she sighs, "what are we doodling today Mick?"
I tap my quill on my parchments wondering, than I know. I start drawing a large half human half dragon holding up a half human half pixie in its hand. I etch a heart in between and label it. At the end of class I show Milly, "Wow this is really some of your best work Mick."
"Thanks." I tuck it in my book.
