Rimuru POV

A few more millennia have passed since Guy became the mediator. For a mongrel, he's surprisingly quite good at his job.

During this time, Velzard also challenged Guy to a duel after he got acknowledged by Veldanava-sama as because she herself wanted his acknowledgement, she was jealous of Guy. Surprisingly, or not so much, he was able to go toe-to-toe with her for many centuries.

Even though Guy only had a Unique skill compared to Velzard's Ultimate skill, they were still fairly evenly matched. His Unique skill [Pride] even allowed him to adapt to suspended world and harness control over information particles, thus becoming a digital life-form, something which I was honestly taken aback by.

Over time, despite the training that I provided Velzard, Guy not only kept fighting at an equal pace, but also evolved [Pride] into the Ultimate skill [Prideful King Lucifer]. This battle had also caused the axis of the Central World to tilt slightly, showcasing the impact of their battle.

Velzard's aura transformed their battlefield, once the home of the Super Magical Empire, into a frozen wasteland, encasing everything, even the imperial castle, in pure ice. After Guy acquired his Ultimate skill, she stopped fighting him and chose to live with him in the Ice Castle, later known as 'The Domain of Demon Lord Guy'.

Also, I don't really think trying to get hooked up with that lowly demon is a good idea. Especially, by simply changing your form into that of a teenager who has quite a bit of her power sealed.

Speaking of demon lord, Guy began portraying himself as the demon lord, aka, the enemy of humanity. He planned to keep them in check through fear and unite them against one common enemy. Of course, there are many more efficient ways to mediate the world, but that mongrel doesn't seem to have the thinking capacity to figure them out.

I am exclusively dedicated to serving Lord Veldanava as his right-hand man, not as an advisor to the mediator, telling him how to do his job. That's why I haven't offered Guy any suggestions for mediating.

Currently, I am engaged in a sparring match with none other than Feldway, the individual whom I hold high respect for - second only to Lord Veldanava. Feldway also happens to be my greatest rival, given that we both serve under the direct command of Lord Veldanava.

What do we usually do together? We spar as well as compete at who is the better servant of our master.

1000 years after my birth, Feldway, who took inspiration from me, decided to lock his true body away and possessed another one, which wasn't as strong. This body had short blonde hair along with piercing dark blue eyes. He also wore a red military uniform with black accents, alongside black pants and white shoes. Despite this not being his true body, though, he was still stronger than the rest of the Primordial angels.

Feldway dashed at me, his golden sword, Ark, in hand. It was a sword Lord Veldanava personally forged for him using Starheart. One could argue that this sword outperformed Velzard's Ranu and Velgrynd Azuru, while also surpassing Kabe, the daggers I currently wield.

Feldway's exceptional fighting skills enable him to surpass Velzard, Velgrynd, and even Guy. There's a reason why he's the Leader of the Angels.

I then side-stepped from the attack while swinging my daggers for his torso, which he blocked. We then continued to go head-to-head with each other, clashing our weapons and trying to gain the upper hand over each other.

However, while Feldway used everything in his arsenal, I was still holding back significantly. I feinted by swinging my dagger at his knee, which he blocked. In a swift move, I instantly launched my other dagger at his neck, stopping it just millimeters away from it.
