I looked at the time on my cellphone.

12:37 pm

I put my cellphone on the table and get the glasses and plates we used. When I put it in the sink, I picked up the scattered plastic and lollipop wrappers on the floor and looked at Edogawa watching Criminal Minds on my laptop.

"Be thankful that there's internet here"

I shook my head and went into my room and then got dressed.
I was wearing a white button-up shirt and black trousers. And of course, my favorite charcoal-gray jacket.

When I got out of my room, I saw that Edogawa was already sitting on the couch while my laptop was resting on his lap and he had opened a new batch of potato chips.

"Seriously, he's eating my potato chips now"

I just shook my head. I walked towards him and took my cell phone from the table. And then I called him.

"Oi, Sherlock" he turned to me with a bored look.

"What do you want to eat? I'll buy something outside for us to eat" he laid his head on the armrest of the couch and then smiled.

"Dark chocolates!" he said cheerfully.

I closed my eyes several times because of what he said and chuckled.

"Seriously. I will think that we are really siblings because we both like to eat sweets" he also laughed.

"Well, it's also nice to have someone to eat dark chocolates with" and he turned his gaze back to my laptop.

I walked out the door when he spoke.

"Don't forget the milk!" I laughed.

"Yes, yes" after I said that, I left my apartment and went to the convenience store that I always go to.

I also passed by the candy shop and bought Edogawa some candies. After that I walked back to my apartment.

But when I got to the pedestrian lane, there was a child running that I bumped into, causing the child's direction to accidentally end up in the pedestrian lane. And just like that, my eyes widened when I saw a truck coming in the direction of the boy.

"Watch out!" I shouted as I ran towards the boy and hugged him. But I can't seem to pull him back to where I came from.

I heard other people scream because of those who saw us. I tightened my grip on the boy and suddenly closed my eyes when I saw the truck approaching in our direction suddenly....

"Gravity Manipulation"

After a while I felt like I was floating. When I opened my eyes I saw someone lifting me. I looked at who it was and saw a man with medium-length, wavy ginger-colored hair that he usually keeps tucked under his signature hat.

When our eyes met, I saw his ocean-colored eyes. He put me down and looked at the child from my arms.

"Hey you. Do you know it's dangerous to run on the side of the pedestrian lane? What if you get hurt?" the man asked gruffly but calmly to the child I was holding.

The boy frowned and was almost in tears. "S-sorry..." said the boy and there were tears in his eyes.

I looked at the man and was about to speak when he suddenly ruffled the boy's hair.
