I was eating dinner and enjoying being with my friends. Lamine didn't sit next to me even though he usually does which made me a bit sad. He stood up to go to the bathroom and on the way back he looked a bit annoyed if im honest. I knew something was off, he was with a friend when walking back to the dinner table, he was with gavi, one of the footballers on the Spanish football team. Whilst gavi was catching up with his teammates, lamine sat between me and pedri. Which confused me as he didn't do this earlier but I was happy he sat next to me (gavi ended up joining us for dinner)as we still haven't said a word to each other today.But that stayed the same as we all finished dinner and he still hadn't said a word to me. His expression was still the same from when he came back form the bathroom.
Something was wrong. I'm gonna talk to him later when I have the chance, there's something he's not telling me.

We all headed back to the hotel and everyone headed back to their hotel rooms. I was on the way to my hotel room until I noticed Lamine sitting in the lodge. So I told Pressley:
"I'll head to our hotel room in a sec I'm just gonna speak to lamine real quick." 
Paige peeked behind Pressley and put her hands on her shoulder and said: "don't worry about that, take your time, I'll tell pedri to go with b/n (your brothers name)  so you guys can have your alone time😏"
🙄I rolled my eyes and headed over lamine. "Hey,can we talk?" I said.
"Sure." He replied.
"In private?"
"Oh, yea ok let's go to my hotel room pedris talking to gavi." Whilst mentioning gavi taking to pedri his expression changed? There must be something going on between him and gavi.

In the hotel room:
"What did you wanna talk about?"
"I just wanted to ask if your ok, you know you can tell me anything right?"
"What are you tryna say?"
"I'm just saying if somethings wrong you can tell me."
"Yea, I know."
"You sure? you seemed a bit off during dinner, and u were pretty quiet."
"I'm fine, I'm just tired."
"Lamine you know you can tell me anything if there's something going on you can tell me."
"God I'm fine! why do you keep asking me that?"
he snapped .
"Nothing I just noticed your expression changed when you came back from the bathroom when you came back with gavi"...
"What do you mean?"
"Idk you just kind of looked annoyed,and when you sat next to me during dinner you barely said a word to me, you haven't talked to me all day,"
" We don't always have to be together y/n, I don't just have to talk to you, I have friends you know!"
"That's not what I'm saying i-i just thought you seemed a bit off when gavi was with us,you didn't really talk to anyone when he came."
"Well it's not my fault you prefer talking to gavi" he muttered.
"What?what do you mean I don't prefer talking to him I've barely spoke to him, I don't even know him that well."
"Well if you don't know him that well and barely talk to him than how come you were talking to him earlier and exchanged numbers?"
"Firstly he started a conversation first so I replied and secondly I didn't ask for his number, he kept insisting that I have his number!"
"Well why would he want your number if he barely knows you?"
"i-i don't know."
"Y/n if a guy asks a girl that he barely knows for her number there's only one for reason for that and that's because he likes them and wants to get to know her well and then ask her out on a date!"
"And you actually gave him your number so that's means you like him too and have the same intentions as him!"
"w-what no that's not true."
"Really cause you keep stuttering and don't seem to have an explanation do you."
"It's not like that lamine you know I'm not like that, I wouldn't be unloyal to you."
"That's what everyone says y/n! how am I supposed to believe you.Plus gavi is rich, popular,a way better football player than me and he has a great reputation due to his football skills,you're just gonna leave me for him!"
The last thing lamine said brought tears to my eyes,I felt like I was going to break down any minute.He really thinks that?We've been dating for year and even before that we have known each other for years and have always been  close. And he still doesn't trust me?
The only reason I didn't tell him why I exchanged numbers with gavi was because i didn't want to ruin the surprise.

flashback to earlier
We were all heading out the car to go inside to go in the hotel to our rooms until gavi came up to me.
"Hey your y/n right? lamine's girlfriend."
"Oh yea that's me,what's up."
"I just wanted to ask for your number,lamine's birthdays coming up and we've all planned a surprise for him, so I thought it would be easier if I get your number so if I need to distract him or anything and need help for the surprise I can text you."
"Oh yea pedri told me about that, we have a group chat for that,are you not on it? pedris the admin I can ask him to add you?"
"Oh no I'm in the group chat I just wanted to have your number just in case you never know when I might need it."
"I dunno I might I don't think that's neces-
"Ok here's my number you can add it" he hands me his phone so I can add it.
"Um I don't really use messages I use WhatsApp more" My phone was open at the time and he took my phone and said  "oh that's fine here I'll add my WhatsApp number."
He took my phone and added my number so there was nothing I could do so I just left it, I mean it was just for lamine's birthday surprise, it's not like I would text him after that.
"Ok thanks y/n have a good night."
he said and walked away,not giving me a chance to reply.

After this

Lamine's pov:

y/n talking to gavi.What were they possibly talking about? I just ignored the feeling inside my chest,I don't know why it was bothering me so much I felt annoyed. I don't know what this emotion was, I've never felt this way before.
I just shaked the feeling off and snapped back to reality unsure of what pedri was talking about as I got lost in my thoughts.

Pedris pov
"What do you think, was I in the wrong? what I did seemed right to me."
"Yea."
"Really bro you think so? what I did seemed fine to me."
"Bro?"
I turned to see what he was looking at. He was looking at y/n, she was talking like gavi.I looked back at lamine, his expression was different from earlier, he looked quite annoyed. I waved my hand in front of his face.
"Yo lamine you good?"
He snapped back to reality.
"What, ye- yea I'm fine."
"You sure? you've been looking at y/n and gavi for like the past 10 minutes."
"Bro?"
He was looking at y/n again.
"Lamine shouldn't aliens take part in the euros
"Yea. wait what?"

Back to lamine's pov
Pedri bursted out laughing.
"Lamine are you jealous of y/n and gavi? you haven't been listening to anything I've been saying and just agreed that aliens should take part in the euros."😹
"Sorry I just got distracted."
"Yea distracted because your jealous"😏

My eyes started to sting from the tears in my eyes, I didn't know what to say. I heard the door open behind me, I turned around to see pedri.There were tears streaming down my face.
" sorry to interupt ill be gone straight away I was just grabbing some pillo-
"Woah y/n are you ok? there's tears all over your face."
"Yea just hayfever."
I grabbed my phone and was just about to leave.
"Wait y/n where are you going? I thought you were gonna stay the night with lamine?"
"Um it's fine I'm just gonna stay with Pressley."

From pedris pov
She left with tears all over her face.
I sat next to lamine.
"Lamine what happened between you and y/n?"
"Nothing pedri, I'm gonna go to sleep we've got our first match tom-
"No lamine, I might not know y/n as well as you but I've known her long enough to know that ain't damn hay fever.this is about gavi,isn't it?"
"Pedri it's fine, it's not a big deal."
"No lamine. i know this isn't my business and this is between you and y/n but I can tell this has been really affecting you. When gavi came your expression changed and you were real quiet during dinner, I didn't wanna say anything because I thought you were just tired or nervous for the match tomorrow.You were so distracted you agreed that aliens should take part in the euros because you were jealous that gavi was taking to y/n."

Now to lamine's pov
I sigh. And explain everyone to pedri.
"How did you know they exchanged numbers?"
When I was in the lodge he came up to me and said "Hey lamine, I have y/n's number now so be careful, your girlfriend might not be yours anymore."
"Damn"
" I know" I sigh.
"Bro I can tell the last thing you said really affected y/n there were tears streaming down her face, you shouldn't have said that. I know that it's a bit weird she exchanged numbers with gavi, but like she said he did ask not her, and she said that he insisted."
"I know but why was she stuttering so much if she wasn't in the wrong why didn't she really give me explanation"
" I don't know maybe something happened, maybe there's something she's not telling you. I mean gavis been acting weird. Like you said he did say "My bad I didn't know she's your girlfriend, but that might change soon." Maybe he said something to y/n that upset her.I'm just gonna say apologise to her tomorrow and just talk to her about it and ask her if there's something she's not telling you, there could be more to the story. But it's up to you.Don't stress too much and just go to sleep.
