Present day~

"No! No! No, please. Fuck- no!", I was working in my office room when I heard innumerably cursing coming from the living room. "What in the actual world is he doing?", I thought to myself, finally abandoning the huge pile of paper that I was supposed to sign. Mind you, I was on the second floor of the house, minding my own business until that nuisance began screaming like a hyena.

I paced out of the office and looked over the railing to find him immensely engrossed in the TV and doing some questionable stunts that made absolutely no sense. "What's wrong?", I enquired, finding it a bit annoying after receiving no response from my husband. I heaved an angered sigh before climbing down the flight of stairs, striding towards his standing figure and stood beside him.

"Jake?", I called out but boy, was he deaf. He shoved me away with his hand, the other one already occupied with the remote control. I sighted the TV, discovering an absolutely hideous game playing on it.

So that was the deal...

For information purposes, he was a twenty three old man with commendable ethics and the best quality of mannerisms and that's what he was doing with his precious time? I could never comprehend what he thought or what he did. "Are you list-", I was cut off by a frantic response. "Shut up! I'm almost on the verge of winning.", he snapped at me, his eyes still not leaving the game. I glared at him, finding his guts absolutely amusing. No one ever dared to say that to me except for him and for the first time, I could never mend it. Swayed by my ongoing thoughts, I was brought back to the world by a screech. "I made it! Yes!", Jake rejoiced, jumping in celebration.

"Don't squander the valuable time bestowed upon you by God. Make proper use of it.", I barked, agitated by the mismanagement of his life. Even if it was against our will, he was still in a relationship with me and my husband would never be expected to do something that wasteful. Unlike me, he was one big of a mis-spender when it came to time. He gave me a bored look, before swaying his hips to the kitchen. I stood there, annoyed lines forming on my forehead and my hands on my waist as I stared at his careless figure.

"I'm gonna start the new project soon which will keep me occupied. So, now mind your own business please.", he did not even bother to spare me a look before heading to his room. "Jesus, man.", I wiped the sweat on my forehead with the back of my hand. He sure was a pain in my ass but I could not help it, could I? Idle behaviour was something that annoyed me the most and that was his major toxic trait which really couldn't be aided to.

He was an indeed phenomenal model for my company, no doubt but the callousness that came with it had no boundaries whatsoever.

~

"Yes, I get it Appa.", I talked to my father who wanted me to focus on the new project that would make millions for my company and he wasn't wrong. The only thing that sucked about it was that my own husband was gonna be the head on ramp model for the showcasing. It was a five month project, meaning I was stuck with him for the next five months. He would be present for all the meetings and that meant I would have to see him a bit too often for my liking. We did share a roof but that was just for the world. In reality, it never felt like I was sharing a house with someone for I never actually saw him around in the big mansion we owned. It was either I was too caught up in work or he was out for a project. Sometimes, it was both of the two.

The scene from the morning was an exception though, for his screams were so loud that they were potent enough to deprive me of my solace. The hatred was mutual with each other's existence annoying us and it was just for us to know.

I was supposed to start an online meeting now, but the loud music coming from his room made me wanna choke him to death. "I'm gonna kill you, Sim."

Day 378- You cannot win against your husband.
