Maldives was one of the top places to visit on my bucket list and having the opportunity thrown to me was like a golden ticket and I caught it with just one hand. The further shooting had to be done on its beautiful and mesmerising beach sceneries and the thought alone just calmed my conscience.
"You're getting what I'm saying, right?", Appa and I were on a call as he was instructing me how to carry forward the plan. "Mmhm. I get it all.", I replied, a peculiar enthusiasm dripping from my voice. He was of major help to continue with the plan he had made me start and I was beyond excited. Heeseung had never touched me in the one year of our marriage and to be honest, I was complaining about it- ranting it to Appa and Jay who both decided to help me out.
The earlier scene with Jay was also the execution of the first step as instructed by the elder and I couldn't have been more entertained.
Step- 1: Make him jealous.
"A man shows his true forms when infuriated by something being taken away that's under his name."
Jay was the only guy who could do it, I knew for a fact and so did he because the hatred they both had shared for each other since childhood was so evident that even just a mere glimpse agitated them. He got his share of victory while I got what you may call, 'honey out of the comb'. I hadn't expected him to react that way and not gonna lie to you, when he pulled me towards him, I could practically imagine us together- in bed. He was one roaring tiger when challenged and that's what I loved about him; fierce, dense and competitive for what's his. The way he asked me to lead Jay out sent a chill down my spine. Ichuckled internally. "Appa knows his son so well.", I had thought.
"Let's pick up something intimate for such a romantic setting, shall we?", he asked, bringing me back from my fantasy world. "Like?" I had never sensed how romantically dense this man was and had tasted the true gist of a successful married life, until then.
No wonder Eomma loves him so much and so does he.
"Go shirtless.", I could practically feel the owner of the third voice, smirking. "Yah, when the hell did you join?", I was caught off guard when all of a sudden, Jay spoke.
"I added him.", an apologetic response came from Appa. "Hi.", Jay joked, making me chuckle. "Stop, will you? And, go shirtless? Have you lost it?", I remarked, flustered by his sudden advice. "You can bring a man to his knees with that body of yours, you understand?", he replied and I blushed almost instantly.
I would love hearing this but from a particular person which wasn't Jay. "You know that's my son in law, right? This is verbal molestation.", Appa spoke in a 'so done' tone, causing me to laugh just by imagining his face. "M-Molestation? Samchon, he's my best friend.", Jay too, sounded done and I was just enjoying the entertaining conversation. "And, my son's husband."
~
Step- 2: Talk to other males in front of him.
"As far as a man is concerned, he hates it when the attention he deserves is deviated to someone else."
Jay's plan wasn't discarded even after a never ending argument but he asked us to save the best for the last. Gods, that asshole. I hated him for coming up with such clever yet immoral ideas. I was messaging the status and when we were gonna land on our personal group chat when suddenly, a male voice spoke. It wasn't Heeseung but rather Mr. Jung Ho-Seok, our Directing Team's Head who was famous for passing on the warmest smiles.
"I'd like you to know that you're doing a phenomenal job, Mr. Lee.", he complemented, acquiring all of my interest. "Thank you. I appreciate it.", my gaze diverted from his seated figure while we were chit chatting and saw a fuming Heeseung glaring at us, who was sitting in the side row, next to us.
Yes. Even though he was my husband, he wasn't sitting with me for 'productive' purposes and picked Mr. Kwon to allegedly discuss the further project. I internally smirked at how protective his demeanour seemed and took the golden chance. I placed my hand on Mr. Jung's thigh when he made a joke that I heartily laughed on, not forgetting to periodically catch a sight of the burning other.
He was the friendliest and how we talked and laughed was out of pure friendship and nothing else but that wasn't for Heeseung to know, right?
I found his company immensely fascinating and our interests actually overlapped pretty well. The conversation was going smooth until...
"Mr. Jung?", said the man standing in front of us, his aura darker than usual. I looked up to see Heeseung towering our seated bodies. "Yes, Mr. Lee?" The taller took a couple seconds before answering, "Can I sit here?" I internally applauded Appa and Jay for being this deceiving that even I couldn't realise when my plan had worked.
"Oh sure-"
"Why?", I cut him off mid sentence, grabbing him by the thigh to keep him seated. He stared at me and then at Heeseung who looked hella pissed. "Cuz, I wanna sit in this row.", he answered, in a matter of fact voice. My stare was hot and fuming and I did not fail to see a certain timidness in his eyes. "You wanna sit in this row? Fine. Elena, do you mind switching seats with sir?", I smiled at my assistant who had just woken up from her long slumber.
"No problem sir...", she apologised for letting out a yawn before giving up her seat and shifting to Heeseung's.
And that's how you do it, ladies and gentleman; execute the plan ever so smoothly that no one can even suspect it.
(Day 399- Treat your man like he wants or suffer mercilessly.)
