Deep in the dusty dungeons, filled with traps and other life-threatening tricks. I finally found the treasure. With that, I can finally go home and see my family again. I'm sure they will be happy to see me after 2 years.

Unfortunately, my co-worker Felipe passed away. He usually was pretty annoying, but it was still heart-wrenching to see my partner die. Strangely it seemed that Felipe jumped to his demise. At first, it was strange because he did not hesitate to jump into the lava. After thoroughly inspecting the reason for his death, I picked up the pieces together and realized the culprit was the elusive aether lava. It wasn't our first time seeing aether lava, but I had only seen it once.

Though I wasn't a researcher, I took small samples for research. After assessing the possible risks of aether lava I decided to take another exit. After paying my final respects, I left to find the exit.

After some time

I found the exit. Finally, I did it... I knew that my co-worker Amelia was waiting for me so I could finally go home, see my family again, and finally spend time with them.

Still, as soon as I opened the small trapdoor, I saw a depressing view of a dark grass field next to a concrete road in the middle of the shining indigo-blue night sky, which led somewhere. Somewhere... unknown and mystical. It was nothing like the place I came from. Maybe someone was playing tricks with me... or perhaps this was real.

Soon it came crashing and there was no turning back. The outside coldness, loneliness, and restlessness somehow made it even worse. It was so cold that a slight breeze was enough to shiver me down to the bone. Grass field extending miles on end. In the end, but it didn't matter for the time being. Feeling nauseous from all the thinking, I sat down on the ice-cold grass, resting for the journey ahead.

Suddenly I saw something, something ahead of me lying... motionless. As I approached closer I saw the lone white bunny, so magical. Touching the cold and firm fur made me realize it was cold out here. As I realized I hurriedly searched my coat and backpack for something warm. After all, I couldn't leave this at this temperature. After finding nothing I decided as a last-ditch effort to put the bunny into my coat for warmth.

And all of this made me realize that I was a fool. Fool for trusting the company, after being in the company for 10 years I remembered the breaches of contracts, cut salaries and much more... I felt like giving up now, but as I looked at my coat realizing that I still had a bunny to save.

After walking for what felt like hours, I finally came across a police station with a post office inside it. The walk felt surprisingly exhausting almost like someone was intentionally slowing me down. The inside was almost the exact opposite of the outside.

The warmth and the brightness were opposite of the cold temperatures, and the overwhelming darkness. After some examination I found the building to consisting a single room with a retro-style post machine and a police booth with a stereotypical cop inside.

The cop was speaking in an incoherent manner, and something very disorienting to the point of physical and mental discomfort. I felt a relentless urge to back away from him. Backing to the post machine across the room, which brought back some sense of nostalgia. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness came to me, felt like I rode on a rollercoaster and threw up after it. The "fabric" around me changing and warping. My senses one by one disappeared, until... until I blacked ou...t...
