Chapter-35

Kanade P.O.V

They next day I woke up as the sunlight reached my face. I slowly got up from my sleeping bag and noticed Saki, Ena, and An being the ones still sleeping. I got ready for the day and head downstairs and noticed that most of my friends friends were downstairs. "Kanade! Come join us for breakfast!" Mizuki said while smiling at me. 

As much as I wanted to, I couldn't. I needed to visit my father at the hospital. "Kanade?" I turned around and saw Toya standing behind me.  I smiled at him as he walked towards me. "Wont you have breakfast with us?" He said looking slightly worried. "Oh I can't I need to visit my father..." I replied. "I see, but you can't leave with a empty stomach though..". He said while gently pulling me closer.

"A-alright fine." I said before joining the others for a quick bite before saying goodbye to everyone. I walked toward the front door and saw Toya standing there waiting for me. He pulled me into a hug before leaning in to kiss me gently. "Stay safe, okay?" He said while slightly smiling before pulling away. "I will." I reply as I smile back.

I left the house and start making my way to the hospital. The walk wasn't so bad as it wasn't really sunny today. Shortly after, I arrived at the hospital. 

"Sorry, visiting hours start in about an hour." The reception said. "Oh..Alright. Ill come back later.." I replied to them before exiting the building. It seems I came a bit too early, so I decided to take a short walk to kill time. Just then I noticed 2 familiar people standing in front of a shop. I walked closer and saw that it was none other than Ichika and Minori. 

I decided to approach them as I was curious to what they were up to. "Ichika, Minori. Hello, I didn't expect to see you both here.." I said while walking towards them. "Oh, hello Kanade." Ichika said while turning towards me and smiling. "Kanade!! Heyy!!" Minori said cheerfully. "What are you guys up to here?" I asked. 

"There is a sale at this dessert shop, so we decided to pay a visit." Ichika said. "The desserts here are REAAALLYY tasty!" Minori added. "Ah, I see." I said feeling a bit amused. "Would you like to try some with us?" Ichika asked. "Oh sure, I'm free right now anyway." I said before entering with them. We started chatting while waiting for the food before Minori asked a question. 

"By the way, Kanade. Do you have any plans for today?" Minori asked while looking curious. "Yes I do, I'll be visiting my father at the hospital in a bit." I answered. "I see, how has he been lately?" Ichika asked while placing a hand on her chin. 

"He has recovered a lot, he's slowly getting better."  I said slightly smiling. "Thats good to know! I hope he fully recovers soon!" Minori said with her eyes sparkling. We ended up chatting for some time and before I know it, the hospital visiting hours had started.

I entered the hospital building with a clear mind as I headed up to the hospital room. When I entered the room, I noticed that he was still asleep. I sighed and took a seat next to the hospital bed. How many times have I done this? I lost count. But this is time, things have changed. I can finally have hope now. After what seemed like hours of waiting. I finally saw him slightly open his eyes.

I gently gasped and slightly jumped from my seat. As he opened his eyes, I noticed that he has a shocked expression, as if he was trying to process what was in front of him. He quickly fixed his position as he started talking.

Hey guys, Im rlly sorry for the hiatus! I announced abt it on my twt before too. I had a big writers block plus a lot of stress, and some problems in my country which also affected me as well. I'll try my best to be more active when it comes to uploading chapters. 

IK IM LATE BUT SEGA FINALLY GAVE US OUR KANATOYA EVENT YIPPIE!! I MADE A NEW JP ACC TO GRIND FOR THE SET THERE, I GOT KANADE 4 TIMES BUT ITS OKAY AS I GOT TOYA TOO.
