Chapter two: Welcome to Republic city

(Y/N's POV)

I was currently walking the busy streets of Republic city. I just left the Air temple to see some friends and I am on my way back.

I noticed a few girls were staring at me. Some were smiling and waving at me and the others were just too embarrassed to even look at me.

I waved back at the group of girls and they blushed and giggled at me.

Y/N: I guess it pays being Republic city's pretty boy.

I said with a smirk.

I passed by some shops until my attention was drawn by the sound of a satomobile pulling up at Mr. Chung's shop.

Y/N's thoughts: I know that satomobile anywhere, Triple threat triad.

The red satomobile opened revealing three well dressed men each wearing clothes who I immediately recognised as my three masthead punching bags.
Viper, Two toed Ping and Mushi stepped out and walked towards Mr. Chung.

Viper: Mr. Chung, please tell me you have my money or else I can't guarantee you that I will be able to protect your establishment.

Mr. Chung: I'm sorry, business has been slow lately.

He then takes one of his photographs.

Mr. Chung: Please, take one of my phonographs.

Two toed Ping brings an arc of fire from his feet down on to the phonograph causing Mr. Chung to scream in fear.

I had watched enough and was about to step in but someone already beat me to it.

Viper: My friend here is not a music lover, give me the money or else-.

Korra: -or else what?

The triads first look at each other confused before they start laughing.

Viper: It's clear that you're fresh of the boat so let me explain a couple of things to you.

Viper: You're on Triple triad territory and we're about to put you in the hospital.

Y/N: Really you're gonna put her in the hospital on her first day in Republic city.

Everyone on the streets turn to look at me and see me smirking.

Korra gasps while the triple threats trembled in fear.

Korra runs up and tackles me into a hug.

Korra: Y/N you're here.

Y/N: Yeah I was just passing by until I heard all the commotion going on about here.

Y/N: While on the topic...

I look over her shoulder and see Viper and his two goons shaking in fear at my mere presence.

Y/N: You guys were planning to put her in the hospital on her first day here.

Korra: Yeah, and i was just about to send them there

Korra: And for their sake, they better hope that one is nearby.

Viper: And just who do you think you are?

Korra: Why don't you come over her and find out.

Y/N: Don't worry about them a bit, they got nothing against the either one of us.

Viper's left eye starts twitching in anger.

Viper: YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!.

He sends a blast of water at me which I nimbly evade.
