COLLEGE WAS something that Rory wanted. She had the privilege to go to any college she wanted to (if they accepted her) and have her parents pay for it out of pocket if scholarships weren't given to her.

Rory had always known that she could do whatever she wanted and wouldn't have to pay a dime out of her own pocket. She knew she was lucky and didn't have to worry about her future... but she also knew others weren't as lucky as she was or would ever be.

At this current moment, Robby had been over at the Brewer house because the ceiling of the Diaz house had caved in, and dirty, piss water had been falling from it. He wouldn't be spending the night because he still wasn't on the best terms with her parents, but they allowed the boy over because Rory would find one way to be with him.

Rory sat at her desk as she submitted her paper to Brown. She wanted to get a rejection or acceptance letter as soon as possible. It was her dream school because her mother had been accepted but soon dropped out once she got a contract with one of the top modeling agencies. Rory wanted to finish what her mother hadn't done. She wanted to show everyone that she could do something without her parent's names attached to it.

After submitting her paper she turned in her seat and stood with a stretch. As she walked on her tiptoes, she flopped down onto Robby who let out a soft groan and wrapped her arms around her torso.

Rory lifted her head up with a small smile painted on her face and took her fingers to gently move the hair from his face.

The one thing that bothered Robby the most about all this college stuff was the fact that because of his past, him getting into college was slim to none, and the fact that Rory would be 2,989 miles from him if she were to get into Brown, which he didn't doubt. Plus, he hadn't mentioned that he wasn't applying anywhere.

That meant no matter where Rory would go, they would always be miles apart.

"What's on your mind?" Rory asked in a whisper.

Robby sighed, his hands running up and down Rory's lower back.

"Brown." He muttered.

Rory's smile flattened and replaced with a softening expression.
