Lyla and Landon met in April. Lyla had just turned 17. Landon was 19. He was the first person that Lyla truly felt anything for.

Lyla age 17, Landon age 19

Lyla walked through her brother's party, she wasn't allowed to be here, but she hated being cooped up in the house. It was a college party, she had never been to one.

Killian didn't know she was here, he would've thrown a fit. Lyla slipped through the shared house of Killian, Jeremy, Nikolai and Gareth.

Her freshly manicured hand slipped around a red solo cup, but it fell to the ground as she heard a voice whisper in her ear.

"And who are you?" The deep voice chuckled softly in her ear.

Lyla's flushed face turned around quickly to explain herself, but her eyebrows furrowed upon the stranger. She knew most of the people here, but not him.

"Amelia Corbett." She remarked, lying, backing away from the stranger.

"Hmm." The man hummed, brushing a piece of hair from Lyla's face.

Lyla blushed, pushing his hand away. "And who are you?" She uses his same words from earlier,

He smirks, shaking his head. "Can't tell."

He walks away with the same stupid smirk, Lyla rolls her eyes. She pours some random mix of alcohol into a fresh cup, taking a sip.

Hours go by of Lyla sitting on the fireplace awkwardly. Her friend Maya was no where to be found, probably off with a random guy somewhere.

So Lyla snooped around, her brother was always hiding things from her, so she decided to take things into her own hands.

She crept upstairs, smiling awkwardly as couples past her. She snuck into Killian's office room, where Jeremy and them kept all of their important things.

She gasped upon seeing the same stranger from earlier, he turned around looking equally alarmed.

"What the hell are you doing?" She mumbles, looking around at the way he was rummaging through stuff. Lyla wasn't one to be confrontational, but he was going through her brothers things.

The man grabs a paper and shoves it into his pocket, looking angry. "You need to stay out of my way."

He brushes past her, slamming against her shoulder. Her mouth widens at his nerve, and she follows him.

"You can't just take my brother's stuff!" She yells at him, chasing him down the stairway.

He freezes, turning around. "Brother?"

Lyla blushes again, her cover was blown. She didn't want to show weakness, so she held her head up high. "Yes. Brother."

The man laughs sinisterly, "This is even better than I thought."

Lyla paused as well, this man was creepy. He didn't even look that much of a man anyway, he only looked a bit older than her.

He walks towards her, Lyla flinches. He leans down to her small frame, whispering. "You can either leave with me or I will burn this place to ashes."

Lyla's eyes widen with fear, she looked up at him with a panicked expression.

She opens her mouth to speak, but he raises a finger, "Uh uh."

She follows behind him, the alcohol blurring how serious this situation actually was.

He opens the door for her to his Aston Martin, she slams the door shut.
