It had been a week since they were back at Nevermore. The stalker still greatly ignored and replaced by Wednesday's new experience. Her wolf, taking up all her attention, devotion, and love, at least for now. She knows she has a duty to fulfill, for herself and for her paramour.

As the weekend rolled over, Enid's first girls' night with Yoko and her friends came by.

"Are you sure you don't wanna join us this time?" She asked the goth.

Wednesday pondered for a bit. She knew how intense her parents could get when around others and how uncomfortable it made her feel... "My beloved." She walked up to her, holding her hands. "I would love to join you but I fear I will not be able to control myself around you and your friends..." She stood up straight, shaking off her soft demeanor, "Besides, it will cut into my writing time."

Enid smirked playfully at her, "Right, whatever you say, babycakes." She winked at a now blushing Wednesday, who quickly turned away to leave towards her typewriter.

"Now go, Mon loup. Do not leave your friends waiting." She choked out.

Enid walked up behind her, wrapping her arms around her waist, taking her breath away when she kissed her cheek. "See you later, Willa."

Wednesday missed the contact as soon as she let go. "Have a dreadful night, Cara mia."

4 hours had passed when Enid walked back into their shared room. Wednesday had fallen asleep, sitting in bed with a book slipping on her chest.

Enid thought it was the cutest she'd ever seen her and sneaked a picture. "You look so peaceful and cute." She walked up to Wednesday and slowly tried to take the book from her hands but felt said hands wrap around her wrists tightly.

Wednesday glared, "I was reading that." Her voice thick with sleep.

Enid giggled, "Sure you were, Grandpa."

Wednesday grumbled and noticed her hands. She frowned as she saw them lacking color. Panic struck thinking Enid didn't want to show the world their matching ring fingers anymore.

Enid realized and smiled bashfully at her, "I thought...you would do the honors this time..." Wednesday's curious eyes flickered with hope. "I did them the first time when we were away. I thought it would only be fair for you to paint mine and I yours this time. That is if you'd want to..."

Wednesday silently got out of bed and pulled her chair to it, "Do you have your nail polish?" She asked her voice firm yet full of love.

Enid beamed and shot up from the bed to fetch her nail polish from her bag. She walked back to Wednesday with 4 colors, pastel pink, yellow, orange, and purple but no black. "Can you use your signature black one on me?" Enid asked sheepishly, "Maybe I can use my proper pink on yours?"

Wednesday let out a soft sigh, "Of course, querida. Anything for you."

They settled on Wednesday's bed, deciding that it would be more comfortable than the chair, and went to work, first Enid and then Wednesday.

Enid could have never imagined Wednesday would be very delicate in her strokes and touch. She cared for Enid's hands with so much love she wanted to cry. She gave her a soft massage with a honey-based lotion, then proceeded to care for her cuticles, preparing her for the base polish. Enid was mesmerized at the dedication Wednesday put into her manicure, Yoko could never... "You're amazing...When did I get so lucky?" She blinked, not noticing she had said that aloud.

Wednesday lifted her head, her hands stopping for a moment. She looked straight into Enid's eyes, "I could not fathom treating you as nothing more than the queen you are...you deserve everything, mi amor." She brought her hand to her lips, peppering kisses on each finger, back of her hand, and up her arm...just like her father...

Thing had strolled in just then, noticing the scene in front of him. He quietly exited the room, rolling his metaphorical eyes, "She's just like Gomez."

Enid closed her eyes, melting into Wednesday's soft kisses, "Willa...you're so...perfect." She used her other hand to lift her chin up, "I love you, Wednesday Addams." Wednesday blinked slowly, watching Enid come closer as she closed the gap between them. Wednesday breathed deeply through her nose, lifting her hand to cup Enid's cheek, deepening the kiss. Her lips were incredibly soft and she would never get tired of the surprise, bats, and flush she'd feel every time Enid kissed her.

They pulled apart, keeping their foreheads pressed together. "And I love you, Enid Sinclair...I will make it my mission in life to show you every day until we are gray and old because you deserve the world and beyond." Wednesday managed to let out in one breath, enjoying the winded feeling and sting in her lungs due to the lack of air.

Enid smiled, "You say the most poetic things, Willa." She places a firm kiss on her nose. Wednesday scrunched her nose in the cutest reaction Enid had seen. She wished she could take a picture but her memory would do.

"Now, let me finish you manicure before Thing rushes in wanting one too." Wednesday went back to her diligent work. Each finger being painted in the colors Enid chose. When she arrived to her ring finger, Wednesday pulled out her favorite shiny black polish. She looked at Enid, "This, will symbolize our union as paramours...at least for now, as a proper ring would adorn your finger."

Enid's smile got bigger at the prospect of what Wednesday was saying. It meant the world to her even if others would think it's just a nail.

After some time Enid's hands felt soft and her nails looked better than ever. "I love it! OMG, you're truly really good at this!" She wiggled on the bed, "Yoko can shove it! Only you'll do my nails from now on!" She extended her arms and wrapped them around Wednesday's neck, pulling her into a tight hug.

Wednesday tucked her face into Enid's neck, her shorter hair tickling her nose, letting a soft giggle escape her lips... Enid pulled back in surprise, "You...you..."

"Breathe a word of this to anyone and you will not make it to old age at all..." Wednesday glared, scoffing as best as she could earning a laugh from Enid, "Nah, you love me too much to hurt me. She booped her nose, brushing her glare away, "Your turn!"

Wednesday frowned, extending her hands towards Enid. Her hands were surprisingly soft though the tips of her fingers had callouses due to the years of cello practice. She decided to give Wednesday the same treatment she gave her hands,

Massaging them a bit more firmly, undoing the little tension knots she had. Wednesday sighed in relief, using her typewriter earlier that day had tensed her fingers so the massage was a welcoming gift.

Enid slowly and carefully coated Wednesday's nails in her signature shiny black polish, leaving her ring finger free of color for the end. She grabbed the same pink Wednesday had used on her hands to paint her ring finger, deciding to say a few words herself, "I know how much this means to you, as color isn't of your preference but just as you let me into your life, I want you to know with this small act we are sealing our love as girlfriends. As you said, for now." She winked at her as she finished.

They let their nails dry, talking about everything and anything. Sharing the night in their company. The one of many to come.

The next day they came walking down the grand stairs of Nevermore, pinkies linked, a smile plastered on Enid's face, and Wednesday's frown less noticeable.
