TWO DAYs HAD PASSED, now it was monday. you had classes every tuesday wednesdays and fridays so you could spend your day in the bakery.

in the kitchen, you finished icing a dozen cinnamon rolls and brought them out to the display before changing your gloves into a fresh pair. you carefully separated the treats and put them on a clean platter front and center of the display case.

hands on your hips, you stepped back to admire your work for a split second. you removed the gloves once again to sit back down on that same spinny stool right in front of the cash register.

your ears perked up at the sound of the bells atop the door frame chiming, and saw a young woman with her toddler walking up to you. you smiled, as you've been doing since everytime you got a customer since that was rare nowadays.

"hi! welcome to sonnys bakery! what can i get you two today?"

"hello dear, can i get one glazed donut, a medium cup of coffee, black, and,"

she looked down to her son who responded with "hot chocolate" and in a shy tone. you smiled at him.

"and a hot chocolate please."

"okay, to go or for here?"

"to go please."

you rang up her total, quickly telling her then grabbing gloves, wrapping the donut in a napkin then packing it in a brown paper bag. "here you are ma'am, let me get your drinks for you, it will be just a second."

it had been 12 more minutes, you knew that since you have been tracking the clock a lot lately, since the nice lady and her adorable son had left with their order.

okay thats it you thought as the clock ticked.

miriko was in the back, past the kitchen, doing some sort of paper work when you walked in.

"heyy miriko... don't hate me but i think i wanna go back to the onigiri restaurant and see what's up."

"oh that's fine, you know i'll always cover for you." she said giving you a smile, placing down her pen and putting on her apron as you took yours off your waist, getting ready to head over.

"thank you so much honestly, and i was thinking since it's a monday morning he shouldn't have a lot of people in there and i can actually confront him this time."

he can't even be bothered to get any bells at his door, how boring. you thought to yourself as you walked in his shop. your guess was right, there were only a few people in there because it was too early to have onigiri since it's mostly a lunch or dinner food. only elderly people had been sat since they tend to eat early, and there was no one in line.

you spotted him, mr onigiri himself, at the counter. his shop had an almost similar set up to yours, but instead of a display case it was a station for making onigiri. he was rolling up an onigiri ball now, like you would a snowball. and another one of his employees was at the cash register this time taking orders.

"hello! do you remember me?"

he looked up to meet you eye to eye. again, he had that same confused look on his face.

"ah... no miss im sorry. can i help you?"

"i'm the one who came in here two days ago because you are stealing my customers and business."

his face had a sign of remembrance, "oh, yes i remember now."

"well i'm here to talk to you about that agai-"

"again, i'm sorry but im working, and if you aren't going to order anything i'm going to have to ask you to leave." he stated, quickly pointing to the door.

this time you were full on mad, not even just disappointed or annoyed. you stared back at him for about 3 seconds before rolling your eyes and scoffing.

as you left the facility, you took note of what the paper taped to the glass door read.
