WANDERING THROUGH one of the many halls inside the castle, Aerion let out a sigh as he peered inside yet another room, still seeing no sign of her. Before a smile played on his lips, the library.

He quickly made his way towards her favorite place, now in a much better mood as he walked inside, heading further into the room, looking around, when he spotted something moving in the corner of his eyes. A smidge of brown hair.

"Princess!" He called out, making his way towards her, his smile growing at the sight in front of him. His girl sitting on the ground, a book in her lap and her long hair falling down her side.

"My Prince!" She smiled, looking up at the young boy, closing her book, before she stood.

"You look beautiful" Aerion spoke, his eyes wandering over her features, taking every single one of them in, just as he does every other time he lays his eyes on her.

"Thank you, my Prince. You look very handsome" The young girl practically whispered, growing nervous under his stare.

Suddenly the young prince stuck out his hand, a smile forming on his lips as he stared at her. A look of confusion flashed over Aelora's face before she put her hand in his, allowing him to guide her, the book she left on the floor long forgotten.

"Where are you taking me?" She questioned, a giggling passing her lips as they passed some maidens who started whispering.

"I'd like to show you something" He admitted, as they made their way towards a part of the castle Aelora has hardly ever walked. He took her up a few more stairs, pleased with the way he saw less and less people the closer they got.

When they finally arrived, he stopped outside of the room before turning to her, "Close your eyes, Princess" He instructed. She did as he said, closing her eyes, his grip on her hand tightening slightly as they started walking once more. "Open"

When the young girl opened her eyes she let out a small gasp, what seemed to once be an abandoned room was now cleaned up, a stack of books in the corner, along with chairs and a beautiful outside view. "This is.. Beautiful."

He let out a hum in agreement, though his eyes never left her, his chest tightening at the sight of her smile.

"You did this?" She questioned turning to face him

"Yes, I thought you'd like a quiet place to read" He admitted, "Somewhere you wouldn't be bothered."

"Thank you!" She smiled, wrapping her arms around him,

He returned the gesture, resting his head on hers, her scent calming him. He hadn't known how long they stood like that before she finally pulled away, looking around the room once more. "You'll stay here with me at times, right?" She questioned, looking at him and tilting her head slightly

He stayed silent for a moment, many answers flowing through his head, but he spoke the one that made him seem .. less eager "If you'll have me, Princess."

"Always," The young girl smiled "I like your company." She admitted, her cheeks turning a slight pink

"As I do yours" Aerion smiled

He enjoyed her company more than he'd ever admit.
