Just a lil story if you wanna read, it's actually insane, so if you're interested go ahead (you don't have to obv)

So my birthday is coming up and my parents were blatantly hinting at me that they were going to give me something early. I had NO idea what it could be considering BOTH my mom AND dad were excited abt it, and usually my dad doesn't get eager abt gifts and surprise stuff... anyways, today the supposed package came in the mail, and it was nothing like we expected.   I saw a battery warning on the package and figured it must be electronic- and I was confused, because the only electronic thing I could think that I wanted would be like a steam deck or some thing, but I didn't even tell my parents that I was into the console, and I already have a switch so it wouldn't be that much more useful. I open the package which I noticed had extra duct tape that wasn't the normal branded ones, and the labels were done messily. I open it and there's two boxes for some reason, and one says candles and the other is god knows what.   And my parents were panicking, and I was kinda amused because they prolly mistook the packages for something else, but nooooooooooo. NO.

WE WERE ROBBED AFTER A MOMENT OF THINKING, AND THIS IS HOW!,
Step negative one- search for package with battery warning on it because it's usually electronics inside, and everyone knows, electronic=wowie good find expensive ooh yeah baby love the Mets ooh all about the Mets yeahhh
Step zero- see package 🪬
step one- robbers get package while it's being shipped 😁
Step two- take package home 😚
Step three- open package, ripping label, and branded tape 🫢
Step four- remove item 👀
Step five- replace item with something of 0 value whatsoever 😌
Step six- re-tape everything and submit the package somehow back into the shipping process 😟
Step seven- innocently be like "ahhahaha silly carriers, the LABEL is DAMAGED! Oh nooo, whoever could've been so bad to rip a label?? Now we need to delay the arrival so we can re-label it!!🎀🎀🎀" and run around like a school girl late to class with bread in her mouth
Step eight- package is delayed, but it gets shipped day after and arrives with absolute Bs contents 🤩🔫

So anyways, we'll be able to file some complaint or whatever and get our money back lol. Honestly my mom felt so bad but I really didn't mind all the drama, because it felt...cool...? To be a first hand witness to scandals I've only heard of online?? Yk? ANYWAYS, if you're wondering...

Yes, my parents told me what it should've been. They were getting me an iPhone 15 😭
They heard about how it's hard to cross the barrier for android vs iPhone users and EVERYONE i know (except Isaac (a guy I lowk like) 😚 what who put that emoji there huhhh 😱🫢) has an iPhone, so it'll be sooooo much easier. Anywaysss I'll try and keep peeps updated LOL 👍😚
