Two days had passed, and everything seemed normal in the Jeon household, but beneath the surface, tension simmered. Grandma had retreated to her room and hadn't come downstairs since the incident. She refused to speak to anyone, maintaining a stern silence that cast a shadow over the house.

Mr. Jeon, feeling the weight of his harsh words, had been making repeated attempts to apologize to his mother. Each time, he knocked gently on her door, calling out softly, "Mother, please, can we talk? I didn't mean what I said. I'm sorry for hurting you."

But Grandma remained steadfast in her silence, her back turned to the door. Her voice, when she finally spoke, was cold and distant. "I don't want to see your face, not after what you said. You chose that boy over your own mother."

Mr. Jeon's heart ached at her words. He knew he had been too harsh, driven by frustration and a desire to protect Taehyung. "Mother, please understand. Taehyung is a good person. He didn't deserve the blame for something he didn't do. I was just trying to stand up for him."

Grandma's response was curt. "You have changed, son. Since that boy came into this house, everything has turned upside down. I feel disrespected and unvalued in my own home."

Mr. Jeon sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "Mother, you are respected and valued more than anyone. This house isn't the same without you. Please, come downstairs. Let's put this behind us."

But Grandma shook her head, her resolve unbroken. "No. Until that boy is gone, I won't come downstairs. I've made up my mind."

Mr. Jeon left her door, feeling a heavy weight on his shoulders. His mood was visibly off, and it affected everyone in the household. He missed his mother's presence, her guidance, and her warmth. He felt trapped between his duty to his mother and his care for Taehyung.

Meanwhile, Taehyung, aware of the rift, tried to stay out of the way, but it pained him to see the family in such disarray. He approached Mr. Jeon one evening, his voice soft and tentative. "Dad, I'm sorry. This is all because of me."

Mr. Jeon shook his head, placing a comforting hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "It's not your fault, Taehyung. This is a family matter, and we'll resolve it. Don't blame yourself."

Taehyung nodded, but the guilt lingered. He wished there was something he could do to mend the situation, to bring peace back to the Jeon household.

As the days went by, the atmosphere remained tense.

It was nighttime. After dinner, Taehyung sat in front of the mirror, applying cream to his smooth skin after showering. The scent of fresh soap lingered in the air, and his damp hair clung softly to his forehead. Just then, Jungkook appeared in front of Taehyung, holding some papers.

Jungkook stood still for a moment, awe-struck by Taehyung's beauty. The soft glow of the lamp illuminated Taehyung's delicate features, and Jungkook's eyes twinkled as he gazed at him. It was as if hearts had formed in his doe-like eyes, filled with unspoken admiration and love.
