In king Song's residence

Princess song went to king Song's study but she wasn't allowed to enter at first.

After all the eunuch guarding outside was madam Song's person.

She waited for one incense sticks time before she could finally enter.

King Song was annoyed at first, this daughter always reminds him that he betrayed his childhood sweetheart.

She only dropped one sentence and left,

However that night he found an anonymous letter at his study desk along with the details of the crime.

He was so angry that he almost fainted.

Empress's family member being involved in corruption was shameful and it caused a chaos in the court.

The emperor directly demoted his brother in law to a ordinary second rank solider and sent him to borderline.

The empress locked herself in the small Buddhist temple in her courtyard and handed the phoenix seal to the empress dowager.

The phoenix seal was sent to first prince's mother, the imperial consort to rule the inner palace temporarily.

The wind is getting colder day by day, the whole capital is covered with thick snow soft and white like cloud.

The imperial palace announced palace selection after new year.

Palace selection is held in every five years.

The beautiful young girls and boys specially omegas and a few betas all over the country are chosen carefully to serve the royals and nobels. Boys are rarely accepted as they don't have the ability to conceive unless they are a rare beauty.

The prettiest ones are send to princes as emperor won't choose any concubines this year. Then other girls will either work as royal attendants or chosen by high ranked nobel ministers.

The majority of the girls are concubine born as the Official omega children are already betrothed since childhood or engaged to their sweetheart.

This year both Sooya and Sukhee are eligible. However Sukhee refused to enter the palace, on the other hand Sooya was encouraged by her mother to enter the palace.

Kim family don't support Sooya's decision at first but she was stubborn and vowed to starve herself, the elders were helpless to comply. Her name was finally sent for selection.

Surprisingly princess Hua was also selected to enter palace.

Taehyung, jimin and jinyue were eating melons about palace selection drama.

Sooya expects herself to climb higher brunch through this event.

Taehyung planned to help her with a small medicine created by jinyue and of course just like every time jimin will execute the whole plan in background.

Today is Qixi festival, the celebration of lovers.

Almost all of the young unmarried youth will gather for the lavish banquet held in the imperial city center and show off their talent.

A lot of flower houses are going to offer a chance to redeem famous courtesans.

Everyone will float lantern, if one lantern gets intertwined with any other lantern, it indicates that they are a fated pair.

Lovers often tie their lanterns with red thread and float them together to ensure long-lasting love life.

All the princes are preparing to attend this festival.

So does fourth prince's palace.

Usually everyone wears red or pink, jinyue already choose pink clothes with flowers embroidered with gold thread and deep sea pearl with a fluffy red fox fur coat living up to his name of extravagant prince.

Jimin wores light pink with silver embroidery, as his identity as Taehyung's attendant and book boy, he always wears simple clothes but today both Taehyung and jinyue insisted on dressing him up to find a date.

They even planned to recruit a door to door husband for him, even went as far as planning the wedding date and clothes they will wear that day. Only the groom is missing.

Jimin was helpless against both of these silly buddies of his.

After a lot of tossing and turning Taehyung wore crimson red clothes embroidered with gold thread along with snow white fur cloak. His hair was pinned with a gold hairpin adorned with ruby.

They all rested and chatted to recite the plan again and ate some snacks.

Beside them was little fat Jungho who was dropped off by first prince as him and Duke jeon has some important business to deal with and fourth prince is the only person they trust in the royal family.

The white fox raised in kim residence was sent to him yesterday as emotional support.

Juju was almost rubbed bald by Jungho's little chubby hands.

It was motionless at first then seeing his fur pulled out, he ran out of the grasp of jungho's tiny hands.

Juju turned into the white fur around Taehyung's cloak neck in a flash.

Jungho's little mouth was left hung open, he rubbed his eyes twice to confirm it.

However nobody except him seems to notice it.
