"So Mr. Follow what would you like to talk to me about?" Said Emily's father as he sat across from a man she knew well. Her first loves uncle. "Well you see John. My nephew Nathen has this girlfriend he's been dating for quite sometime, three months I believe." said Mr. Follow "and no one likes her. My nephews mom Lily, his father, his siblings, no one." Emily's father stared at him "What does that have to do with me sir." Then Mr. Follow let out a sigh "My nephew was in love with your daughter when they were in middle school together. He told her this on the last day but she didn't say it back which broke his heart. My sister-in-law knows her from volleyball and thinks she's the sweetest girl. What I want is for my nephew and your daughter to...how do I say this...rekindle whatever was going on between them-"
"But sir there was nothing she has never had a boyfriend-" said Emily's father.
"Yes John I know they never dated but I sense something was between them. I want them to be together a lot this summer. He was much happier just being friends with her than not seeing her for over a year" said Mr. Follow.
Her dad thought about it, John trusted him because he used to coach his son in hockey before a tragic car accident that killed him. He trusts Chris Follow with everything.
"Okay" he said. "Call him now"
Mr. Follow smiled and took out his phone.
