I sit uncomfortably next to Nathen. I don't know why its uncomfortable it's just, I haven't seen him since eighth grade graduation party the day after he told me he loved me. He probably doesn't anymore. He's got a girlfriend now. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I went up to give him a hug as we were leaving and he said it "i love you" I was in complete shock and he said it a few more times and I finally mumbled it back to him letting go and leaving. It was the most embarrassing moment ever. Anyway my dad didn't tell me he was coming over to help. He just called and said clean your room and other places a guest is coming over at 12:30 to help you blah blah blah.
I did what he said it's just hard to keep up with the kids so I put them in the playpen. I was surprised to see him at the door. Now I'm just sitting next to him watching a movie when I dose off and take a nap. When I wake up from my nap my head is on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around me. Once I realize what's going on I sit up and stretch awkwardly looking at him watch the movie
"Do you want a tour to get to know the place better" I say.
"Anything to spend more time with you" he said with a cocky grin. He has shaggy blonde hair with blue eyes. He's tall and muscular but not to muscular. I show him the house then go to my room "This is my room, Charlotte loves to be in here so if we can't find her she's probably in my bathroom." and I walk him over into my tiny bathroom and turn around. We're so close our feet are almost touching. I skip a breath and get dizzy and grab for his arm. He looks down at me in a concerned way "you okay Em?"
"Yeah. I started to do that a lot lately, I don't know why." Then I showed him the messy playroom. When we get back to the den the baby's are still sleeping and the movies over.
"What do you wanna watch?" I asked
"I don't know. This is Netflix right? How about Boy in the Stripped Pajamas, I've never seen that." He said
"Um, okay but just to warn you it's so sad I might cry" so I got tissues and put them in front of us and turned on the movie. When it was over I was crying a lot and I think I saw him crying too.
"Here." I said handing him a tissue while Charlotte woke up.
"Emmy, you crying?" she said.
I smile "Yea baby. But it's okay." Then I woke up Cameron.
"So do you want to go to the park Char?" I ask.
"Yeah!" Said my sister jumping up and down. I take the double stroller and put them in it and lock the door as we go to the park.
