Chapter 2: From a bad day to a good day

Jeremy's POV

She doesn't remember me. My jaw drops, my eyes widen, and I swallow a lump in my throat as she says this. Suddenly, she almost falls on the ground but I swiftly hold on to her upper arms. The rest of the 'gang' (A/N: As he would call them) circle around us. "Jade and Jay get nurse Jenny. Lloyd and Addi accompany them. Andrew and Rick... ummm.... make yourselves useful. That's an order!" I exclaim with a stoic expression. I hold her head near my face. Jade and Jay ran in front of me while trying to catch their breath along with Lloyd, Addi, Rick, and Andrew. "Nurse *pant* Joy *pant* told * pant* us to *pant* bring *pant*..... just a minute." Jay tries to say between breaths. "Bring *pant* Mia there *pant*." They manage to say in unison. I carry her bridal style and we run towards the nurse office. Jade knocks gently and we here a soft 'come in'. Jay opens the door slowly. I gently put her down on the bed. "What happened dear?" Nurse Joy asks kindly. "W-well.. I ... w-we.... c-can you guys explain?" I start to stutter. I walk outside so they can explain. After a few minutes of explaining, Andrew called me so nurse Joy could explain to me something. Nurse Joy explains everything. How Mia's school bus in another school crashed. How she had amnesia. How she would have headaches when she tries to remember something that she doesn't. And how they moved back here. I swallow another lump of guilt in my throat. After nurse Joy finished, the bell rang for first period. I thanked nurse Joy. "It's okay dear, she would never forget you. You guys were best friends." She gave a reassuring smile while patting my shoulder. "You better get going. You don't want to be late, do you?" I waved goodbye and checked my schedule.

I ran towards my locker and remembered that I still need to leave my other stuff. I run towards History class. I pull the door and remembered to push, not pull. I take a seat on the 2nd chair in the 4th row. I find only 7 of us in the classroom. Then the rest comes along with Ma'am Fitzgerald.(A/N: I can't think of a name for the teachers. Please comment and help me.) She sits down and starts discussing. I pay attention and take down some notes. (A/N: We getting good grades dont we?)

~Timeskip~
Lunch time

I meet with the others at the lockers. "Are you guys gonna buy from the cafeteria or do you have food already? Because Jade and I are going to buy. If you're gonna buy then we'll come with." Jay suggests. "Well since we all didn't bring any thing then that means we all have to buy." I respond. We race to the cafeteria. We all arrive at the same time. We pant and headed for an empty table. We grab our money and take some food to pay for. I have spaghetti. Rick has macaroni. Andrew has meatballs? (Haha who would eat meatballs. I am dang wierd.) Lloyd has noodles. Addi has fried chicken. And the twins have burgers. We dive down on our food like civilized monsters. "What are your drinks guys?" The twins ask. "Well, what do they have?" Lloyd and Andrew say in unison. They quickly head to buy. I have water. Rick has orange juice. Andrew has milk in the afternoon? Lloyd has pineapple juice. Addi has apple juice. The twins have been fighting between the last can of soda, which was normal soda, their favorite.

We laugh at the sight of the adorable twins fighting between a can of soda. Jay was laying on his back on the floor while Jade was sitting in his stomach trying to snatch the soda can from his hands. Then Jade suddenly grabs a tray that has nothing on it and quickly smacks her brother here and there. "AAAAHHH! *SMACK* OWWWWW! STOP IT! OW STOP!" Jay winces and whined at the same time. At the sudden fighting of Jay and Jade, they didn't notice that a guy already took the can of soda from Jay's grip until I spoke up. "Guys, just have grape soda instead." They look at me confused. We point at Jay's empty hand. They still tackle until we gave them both a can of grape soda each. They look at each other confused. They taste the grape soda and were satisfied. We finished lunch and went to our next classes.

Dismissal time

We all walk (Or should I say skate.)back home talking about stuff. We arrived at home and said our goodbyes not far from each other. Rick and I jead to our rooms and I dramatically drop myself on my bed with my back showing, dropping my backpack on the floor from my shoulder.

~A few months later~

We have been going to school normally. Today they announced that on Friday the school will have a Fall Dance Party and every boy will have to find a date.
