Chapter 1: A normal life

Jeremy's POV

Beep-beep,beep-beep

I bang the bottom of my fist at my alarm clock. "Uugh."I groan sleepilly. I wake up realizing it was the first day of my 3rd year in high school. I swing my feet to the side of my bed and grab my towel from its hanger hanging on the hook on my cabinet. Why does summer have to end? Well, look on the bright side at least I get to see my friends again. I thought. While I was scrubbing my hair, I felt some of the shampoo flow down my face and a lot went into my eyes. I screamed trying to make sure that I did not slip in my bathtub. I went out of my personal bathroom with my big towel wrapped around my waist while the smaller towel around both of my shoulders. While walking to my bedroom, I wipe water off of my hair and the moment I stepped inside my room, I shook my head side to side to make sure all the water in my hair would come off. I picked a casual outfit. I picked out a plain white shirt, my usual grey jacket, some skinny jeans(A/N:I don't know if guys where that ok.) and a pair of random-colored converse. I ran downstairs and find my parents and Rick eating waffles. "Rurry ub mro ho ga ohers hont hah ho heih." Rick commanded me with a mouth stuffed with waffles. "Calm down Rick. Because I didn't understand what you said." I said. I heard him jugging down his orange juice without even looking up from my plate. "I said that we should hurry up." He said. "Yeah yeah ok."

Time skip~ after breakfast

Rick and I grabbed our bags, phones, and skateboards. We rode our skateboards towards the mailbox to Andrew's place. We waited outside for a few minutes. When we heard the front door open,we whipped our heads backwards and saw Andrew wearing his random t-shirt with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, tan cargo pants and a pair of brown converse with yellow laces. The three of us skated to Jade's, Jay's, and Lloyd's place (A/N: They are neighbors)and on the way Rick was doing something on his phone. He wasn't looking straight up so he accidentally ran into a pole. He collapsed but, luckily, he didn't black out. "You okay dude?" Andrew asked. "Yeah yeah, okay mom." Rick said as we helped him up.

Jade's POV

My twin, Jay, and I finished getting ready, eating breakfast, and saying goodbye to mom amd dad and his male Alaskan-malamute, Alphonse, or for short, Al and my male Siberian-husky, Edward or Ed. We pat their heads and we grab our backpacks, phones, skateboards, and the spare keys. I stuff the keys in my pocket as we sling my bag over our shoulder. We find Lloyd leaning on our mailbox, let me correct that, sleeping on our mailbox. We shake his shoulders, nope. Scream his name, nope. Slap him in the face, nope. Take his bag off of his shoulders, nope. I look at Jay with a devilish smile. He has it on his face too. We both slam his bag on his face. "Asuna save meeeee!!!! Gaaahh!" Lloyd said while flying towards the ground. He landed face first. Jay was on the ground clutching his stomach. I was laughing tears of joy on my mailbox while clutching my stomach. We find Jeremy, Rick, and Fred- I mean Andrew laughing. Jay and I held our hands out to Lloyd and he grabs it and we pull him towards us. We all calmed down and casually rode to Addi's place while talking about our summers.

Addi's POV

I finished doing all my tasks and ran out to my porch. I have been waiting for about 15 minutes for my friends and they finally arrived. "Hey Adds, how's summer." My best friend, Jade, asks. "Its okay." I reply. Jeremy ( A/N: He's spacing out.)stopped his skateboard. "Hey guys, do you remember the incident about Mia?" Jeremy looked at all of us. "Yeah." The rest of us said in unison while staring at the ground.

Flashback~
Still Addi's POV

(A/N: Jeremy, Mia, and Andrew were 13 years old, Rick was 12, and Addi, Jade, Jay, and Lloyd were 10.)The eight of us were planning to go on a road trip with our families. Jeremy was in charge. He planned everything. Instead of the road trip to go as he planned, Mia's car got lost in the woods because they accidentally went the wrong way. After that incident, Jeremy never forgave himself because he always had a crush on Mia since they met. He took care of us whenever we were all together like we were really siblings. He was really like our older brother.

Flashback end~
Lloyd's POV

We arrived at school 15 minutes early so we went to the office.

Time skip because I don't really know about the register thingy~

We headed to our lockers which are right next to each other. Jeremy's number is 112, Rick's is 113, Andrew's is 114, Addi's is 115, Jade's is 116, Jay's is 117, and mine is 118. We checked our schedule and left some of our books. After that we headed to class. Jeremy accidentally bumped a girl who looks like she's new here. Although, she looks so familiar. I remember a name at the tip of my tounge, I can't make it out.

Jeremy's POV

I accidentally bumped into a girl who looks familiar and new at the same time. Oh Mia, I miss you so much. Where have you all these years? I thought. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" I asked her. "Yeah and I should be sorry. I'm actually new here." She replied. "Really? What's your name?" I ask again. "Mia. Mia Gomez. And you?" She smiles at me. "Wait. Mia Gomez, as in Mia Cassandra Gomez! Mia, it's me Jeremy." "What? I don't know any Jeremy my whole life." She replied.
