11:57, 11:58,11:59, the time passed so slowly, it seemed. All the sudden, 12:00 took the wind out of me. Half of the class glanced at each other before moving but I motioned them to get going. We rushed out of the classroom and made way to the stairs then hurried out of the school. When we reached the exit to the school I hollered, "ready!?" to the team. They replied "Ready." I threw the potion to everybody and I gazed to awe as the potions worked and developed mighty wings on a human body and our luggage was shrunk a a miniature size, stored inside the bottle. It was beyond science. First we all stumbled and tripped over our own back as I explained how to fly: "Its just like walking, except try to move your back instead of your legs." I knew that sooner or later they'd get it, and fortunately, they did. Wow, I thought as our small bodies held gorgeous feathers of power.
We stopped multiple times to get a drink of water, or even admire the scenery. We past multiple cities I had never even seen before! I was so busy thinking I had barely noticed that we were at our first destination, the famous, the beautiful, the grand, Grand Canyon!
