{Third person's pov}
"Papa, let's go to the amusement park." 5 year old Vyan said, while crossing his arms in front of his chest. Surely he was a copy of Ishika when it came to stubbornness.
Garv chuckled at Vyan's request, his son's stubbornness already on full display at just 5 years old. He shook his head, knowing this would likely be a battle he would lose.
"We'll see, buddy," he replied tactfully, not wanting to give a definite 'no' that would surely provoke a tantrum.
"You don't love me anymore papa, I want to go to the Amusement park. You are always busy at work." Vyan pouted, while stomping his feet.
Garv's heart ached a bit at Vyan's words, knowing that his son didn't understand the realities of adult life and work responsibilities.
"Hey now, that's not true, It's not that I don't love you, buddy. I love you more than anything. But sometimes I have to go to work to take care of things and make money to buy you nice things."
"It's Sunday papa, why can't we go to the Amusement park?" Vyan asked, his eyes filled with tears as he spoke.
Garv sighed as he looked into Vyan's teary eyes, feeling guilty that he couldn't be the fun-loving dad all the time. But he knew he had to balance responsibility and leisure.
"I know, buddy, but Sunday is a busy day for me too," he explained gently. "But we can definitely plan a special trip to the amusement park later. How does that sound?"
"Garv, you are always busy with work. If he is pleading that much let's go to the Amusement park." Ishika entered the room with a glass of milk for Vyan.
Garv looked at Ishika with a mixture of guilt and resignation. He knew that she was right and that Vyan deserved some uninterrupted family time.
"Alright, alright," he said, giving in with a slight smile. "We can go to the amusement park today. But only for a few hours, okay? I still have some work to finish later."
"Yay! You are the best papa," Vyan Hugged him and then looked at his mother with a victorious smile.
Garv ruffled Vyan's hair affectionately and got up from his crouching position.
"Looks like someone knows how to work us both," he teased, looking at Ishika. "Looks like you have a future negotiator on your hands here."
"Yeah, come vyan let me get you ready," Ishika called Vyan who excitedly went to his room with Ishika. his previous upset forgotten now that he was getting his way. Garv watched them go, shaking his head in amusement at his son's quick mood change.
He took a moment to gather his things and checked his phone, seeing messages from work that needed his attention. But he mentally prioritised them for later, knowing that family time came first.
.........
Ishika and Garv settled down at the front seat, while Vyan sat at the back seat.
Garv started the car, glancing in the rearview mirror at Vyan in the backseat. Their little boy was already babbling excitedly, the prospect of the amusement park bringing out his talkative side.
"Looks like someone is in a good mood now," Garv said to Ishika, a hint of amusement in his tone. "Looks like he's forgotten all about his earlier tantrum."
"Just because you agreed to it or else he would have been crying sitting in a corner at home." Ishika spoke and Chuckled being well aware about her son's antics.
