⚠️Blood and Language⚠️

**Leah's POV**

My heart raced as I saw Y/n lying on the ground, blood pooling around her. The FBI agent's words echoed in my mind: "The ambulance will be here in 10 minutes." But we didn't have 10 minutes. She was losing too much blood.

"I can't wait," I said, determination lacing my voice. "She'll die."

The agent nodded, understanding the urgency. "Take my car. It's the black police car outside. Use the sirens, and people will clear the way. I'll meet you at the hospital later. Make sure to give it back to me."

I didn't waste a second. I scooped Y/n up in my arms and carried her out to the car. Her weight felt like nothing compared to the gravity of the situation. I placed her gently in the passenger seat, fastening the seat belt around her. With a quick glance to ensure she was as stable as possible, I sped off, the sirens blaring.

Every second felt like an eternity, but I drove as fast as I could, weaving through traffic. My mind was a blur of worry and fear. How did we end up here? And why did I feel so responsible for her?

In just five minutes, I reached the hospital, skidding to a halt at the entrance. "Help! She's been shot!" I shouted as I carried Y/n inside.

Doctors and nurses rushed over with a gurney, and I gently placed her on it. They ripped open her dress to assess the wound, revealing her toned abs beneath the blood. The sight made my heart skip a beat, but I quickly pushed those thoughts aside as they whisked her away to the operating room.

Hours passed in a haze of waiting, paperwork, and restless scrolling through TikTok. I must have had a dozen cups of coffee and made several trips to the bathroom. The worry gnawed at me, each passing minute feeling like a lifetime.

Finally, a doctor approached. "She's stable. We removed the bullet, and she's in recovery. You can see her now."

I hesitated. I wasn't family, just someone with a complicated history with Y/n. But I needed to see her, to know she was okay. I nodded and followed the doctor to her room.

**Y/n's POV**

Pain was the first thing I felt as I regained consciousness. My whole body ached, and I swore under my breath. Blinking my eyes open, I was met with the sight of someone I didn't expect to see.

"What the fuck happened?" I asked, my voice weak.

Leah smirked. "Well, well, well, look who's up."

Before she could say more, another woman burst into the room. "Oh my god, Y/n! Are you okay?" She rushed to my side, touching my cheeks, but I pulled away instinctively.

"Sorry, but who the hell are you?" I asked, my confusion growing.

Leah's eyes widened in surprise.

"It's me, babe, Emma," the woman said, her voice breaking. "Emma Watson, babe, I'm your girlfriend."

I shook my head, my eyebrows furrowed. "Sorry, but I don't know you. So, if you could please leave my room."

Emma's face fell. "What? Fine! Do what you want. I can't believe this!" She stormed out, leaving me even more bewildered.

Turning back to Leah, I asked, "Who the hell was that?"

Leah's expression was a mix of shock and something else I couldn't quite identify. "Wait, you know who I am?"

I nodded, confused by her reaction. "Hä yeah, of course. We are dating."

Leah's face paled as she processed my words. "What the hell is going on?" she muttered, more to herself than to me.

I reached out, touching her hand gently. "Leah, what's happening? Why don't I remember anything about this woman Emma?"

She took a deep breath, squeezing my hand. "I don't know, but we'll figure it out together. I promise."

As I lay there, holding Leah's hand, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. But with Leah by my side, I felt a glimmer of hope that we could uncover the truth, no matter how complicated it might be.
