Taking an Uber to the airport, you look outside of the window.
'Hmm... Korea, huh?'
As you walk through the airport with your carry-on in hand, you notice a weirdly large amount of people crowded around your terminal. Getting closer and closer, you saw a lot of those people had cameras on them and were pointed at the gate. It looked like they were waiting for someone to board a plane.
'Yeah, no.'
You quickly walk through the masses of people to go and walk into their line of fire. They were all cordoned off by security, allowing for a walkway to get through and from the gate. Eyes were on you as you quickly walked past the paparazzi. You hastily got checked in and boarded the plane.
The plane was very packed, but you spotted an empty row of seats in the back. You walked through the aisles of passengers to the back of the plane and made it to your reserved seats. Ahead of time, you had booked an entire row for yourself. For one, who wouldn't like having the free space? But, it also made it so you could work it peace.
'I remember the last time I had to travel...'
You shivered at the endless cries of a baby and a mom somehow sleeping through it all. Before putting your carry-on away, you pull out your laptop. It had a lot of different music projects and it wouldn't hurt to try and work on some of them. Your laptop was powering up as one of the flight attendants walked up to you.
Attendant: "Uhrm Sir?"
You look up from your laptop.
Y/N: "Yes?"
Attendant: "I noticed that you had empty seats next to you, we accidentally misbooked the flight. Is it okay if we place someone next to you?"
Y/N: "Yeah, that's okay."
The attendant walked away as you sighed deeply. You plugged in your headphones and opened up your music apps. You scroll through the various songs that you had worked on. Going deep into thought, you tried to figure out what to do to fill the void of time. You were so focused that you failed to notice that someone had sat next to you.
'Hmm... I think I still need to mix "Yes or No". Though, it will probably be very preliminary.'
You created a new music project, naming it "Yes or No". Thankfully, the vocals had been recorded and a general melody had been created. It was just up to you to clean it up and work your magic. When you looked up to go and grab your flash drive, you met with boba eyes.
'Yunjin?'
She looked back at you, eyes wide open, shocked at getting caught staring. You knew of her because you had helped produce some of their songs, even helping them record sometime ago. Yunjin seemed to not recognize you as she gave you a small smile. Out of habit, you did a small bow with your head. Then you snapped back to your laptop.
'Wait, didn't I have the files downloaded?'
You look back and check your computer's files. All of the audio files were already placed in a folder named "Yes or No."
'Whew, that would have been awkward.'
Thanks to you predownloading everything, you avoided an interaction with Yunjin. Not that she was a bad person or anything, but you didn't want to allude to anything that you were "Y". Regardless, you started to work on the track. As you were going through the vocals and proposed instrumentals behind it, you thought it was okay, but you could make it better.
You pulled out the music sheet for the original track and started to make notes around it. There were a lot of changes in tones as well as adding or removing certain instruments. Unknowingly, Yunjin was watching you in amazement. It took half the trip before you were satisfied with the changes you had planned out. Admittedly, you couldn't really record any of the instruments because of lack of thereof.
