Luna's Pov

As I reflected on the events, I remembered Aaron shouting at Hana and me fainting in his arms. He must have brought me here, to this cozy room filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the soft hum of a clock ticking in the background. Aaron entered the room, concern etched on his face like a deep groove, and bombarded me with questions, his words tumbling out like a waterfall.

"Hey Luna, are you feeling better? Any pain? What happened? You didn't eat well, did you? The doctor said you skipped meals. Why?" His eyes searched mine, filled with a deep-seated worry that made my heart skip a beat.

I held up my hand, stopping him, and he looked sheepish, scratching the back of his head like a child caught in a mischief. "Sorry, I just worry about you. Are you feeling better now?" he asked, his voice softening like a gentle breeze.

I nodded, and he smiled, relieved, his eyes crinkling at the corners like a well-loved book. "Glad to hear that."
I hesitated, curious, my mind racing like a wild horse.

"Why do you care so much?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Aaron's expression turned serious, his eyes locking onto mine like a key fitting into a lock. "I know it's not the right time, but I can't hide it anymore. I like you, Luna. It's not just an attraction; I genuinely like you. You make my heart race, and I feel nervous around you." His words hung in the air like a challenge, like a gauntlet thrown down.

I stuttered, unsure how to respond, my mind a jumble of emotions like a tangled skein of yarn. "I-I don't know what to say..."
Aaron looked disappointed but understanding, his face a map of emotions. "No need to reply now. I know I'm partly to blame for what you've been through. I'm truly sorry." His voice was laced with regret, like a bitter tea.

I waved my hand, dismissing his apology, feeling a pang of guilt like a needle pricking my skin. "It's fine, you didn't know."
