Seve opens his eyes. He's currently lying underneath a tree, within some type of grassy plain: there's a tan dirt surface underneath him, which leads to a road with nearby items that add variety outside of pure greenery. If Seve didn't know any better, he'd assume he just so happened to wander out of Cliffside and passed out under some random tree, in some random countryside. Yeah, that wasn't likely... Cliffside didn't even have any nearby greenery: the exterior of Seve's home city was mostly barren, nothing but the leading roads and the dirt those paths sat upon. Sure, it's not like Cliffside was in the middle of nowhere, but there's no way Seve is finding some random meadow to sleep in like some freshman vagabond. Well, if he's awake now, he should at least get the full idea of where he is...

He sits up and takes a gander. Nope, nothing of significance: it's just that standard countryside appearance, with the only unique things of interest being a windmill or a sign in the road's fork. Yep, this is definitely not someplace you'd find close to a city like his... Actually, is it even in the same state; is it even in the same country? If anything, Seve almost felt like he traveled back in time or to some fairytale's version of grassier, yet still civilized, plains... Or, there's the third option: it's a dream. Honestly, why didn't he think of that sooner...? Duh, Seve... Well, if this was a dream, then surely he'd soon run into--

"Hi, Sleepyhead!"

Appearing upside down, from a tree's branches and hanging by her legs, certainly a new way for Alexis to pop up in Seve's dreamt adventures. He tilts his head up at his friend, raising his eyebrow.

"... Were you just watching me the whole time?"

"Yep!" Alexis then lets out a small giggle, "You look pretty cute, when you suck your thumb like that."

Seve looks away and grumbles a little. It was a hard habit to grow out of, despite his efforts since middle school. He couldn't help it, it was one of the best ways to relax-- especially when you sometimes just need to long for the days of simpler innocence! In other words: being a teenager sucks, so cut him some slack. Alexis never thought less of him for it, though-- in fact, she always liked whenever Seve allowed himself to be less serious and just do what's fun for him. Plus, he did look adorable, whenever he slept that way: on his side, completely at peace and unaware of his surroundings, save for the soothing digit that allows him a further pleasant slumber.

Plus, who would Alexis be to judge someone for "looking" or "acting" younger? Despite the "gothic" or "emo" appearance some could label her with, Alexis loved to skip around and get into all manners of troub-- er, fun.

"So, where are we, anyway?" Seve stands and folds his arms, "More importantly, anything good around here? I could go for some nachos."

If there was anything to constantly sit within the boy's mind, especially as a growing and hungry teenager, it was those delectable and gooey chips of cheesy goodness. Bonus points when there were extra jalapenos to be added. Plus, when was the last time he really got his fill, when Alexis here typically rivaled his own hunger for that satisfying, melted and spicy crunch?

"Nope, no nachos here..." Alexis looks around, hoof level with her eyes' tops, "Just the stuff that makes them, I think."

"Honestly, I doubt you'd tell me anyway..."

Alexis pouts, puffing her cheeks out and resting her fists against her hips.

"Oh, come on, I'm not some mean nacho-hog..."

Seve stares at her. HARD.

"... Okay," Alexis grins and shifts her eyes away, "So, maybe I like to take a little chip, here and there, for myself..."
