After Gerald brings everyone else inside, he guides them to the upper story of the building: a modest living space with access to a bathroom and a little more decoration than just a bed. Underneath that bed...

"You can now come out, Kind," Gerald shuts the bedroom door, "I've found your friends."

At first, everyone just stares at the strange and creepy canine head protruding from the bed: Jimmy jumps and clings to Sarah, the woman grimaces at the "monster," Alexis gawks in surprised terror, and Seve's eyes widen above his dropped jaw.

"AAAAAHHHGGG!!!" Seve points, "Freaky demon dog!!!"

"Relax yourselves," Gerald pats the thing's head, "it's not one of the beasts that you must worry about," he then whispers to the group, "I made your little friend 'invisible' to what you must worry about. I can do the same for you all."

"Then what're you waiting for?!" Sarah demands, "Make us 'invisible,' too! We don't want to deal with those things, either!!"

"Calm yourself, Frau..." Gerald sighs, "I can't just slap some leaves and skins together, then call it a day... If you want to be properly hidden, you must have complete quality and proper construction ensured."

"I'm guessin' that 'skin' was made from whatever your meat is, right...?" Seve grimaces, "Which I'm hoping is some kind of freaky plant with bones..."

He still recalls the mention of meat in this town, filled with as many herbivores as carnivores, containing skeletal parts... At the very least, perhaps it's all from a less sapient version of everyone? There's no other way the walking "mutton pair" would be so calm about suggesting meat to attract Claire back, and it'd also explain "skins" when plants typically have none... Although, Seve couldn't imagine any goat of his world feeling comfortable with doing all "that" to an alternate version of themselves. In fact, they probably couldn't even overcome the existential crisis if some quadrupedal goats walked up and "baaa'd" gibberish. Man, the sooner he and Alexis get out of this freaky dreamscape, the better.

Everyone else seems concerned about Claire's materials also: Sarah and Jimmy look toward each other, while Alexis stops patting Claire's head and leans in to more closely inspect her attire. Claire tries leaning away from the goat, her canid ears perking back.

"Relax now, all of you..." Gerald sighs, "We're not a town of psychopaths. I'll admit that our ingredients and materials may make us appear otherwise, but 'skins' and all else come from who's already dead."

"Including the meat you guys apparently eat?!" Sarah grimaces, "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"You are jumping toward conclusions, Frau..." Gerald sighs, "Besides, we have plenty of 'different' animals for all that... You think the nearby woods are just for appearance's sake?"

"Even if you don't eat anyone," Sarah folds her arms, "it's still messed up to use them for some freaky outfit... That's like if Jimmy and I tried making our future outfits out of other people!"

"Well, you don't want these demons to realize you're targetable souls, do you?" Gerald shrugs, "You cannot hinder their senses with simple fabrics nor similar. You need more... 'authentic' materials if you wish to be seen as one of them. Don't worry, they won't start fights with other entities-- as long as you don't act like you're after the same target."

"Um, 'same target'...?" Alexis repeats, "Sooo, we can each have more than one thing come after us?"

"Great," Seve groans, "we're screwed, even if all five of us ain't targeted..."
