Chapter 2: Truth

Mitch's POV

My whole body hurts.. especially my right leg. My mom stabbed the knife on my leg and now I could barely walk properly. I heard a door opening and looked behind me where the door was and saw Five. I looked down and walked towards the door while trying to avoid him.

"Mitch" He said calling my name. I was about to go out until he grabbed my face. I was forced to have eye contact with him. "Stop ignoring me" he ordered

"What do you want newbie?" I said

"Why do you keep having scars and bruises everyday?" He asked

"That's none of your business" I responded angrily

"I know it's none of my business but I want to help you please" he begged

"Five, just leave me alone, this is my problem not yours so leave" I said

"No, I'm not leaving until you tell me why"

"It's nothing important" I said annoyed

"It's obviously something important, I don't want you to get hurt" he said

"IT'S NOTHING IMPORTANT! WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT ME!? WHY DO YOU CARE IF EVERYONE ELSE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME!!? WHY DO YOU CARE THAT I HAVE SO MANY BRUISES AND SCARS!? WHY NOT JUST LEAVE ME BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES?!?" I shouted and tears started rolling down on my face. I sat down with my back leaning against the locker, my face being hidden by my arms and my arms being wrapped around my knees. I felt Five sitting beside me and he grabbed my face gently making me look at him.

"I care for you so much Mitch.. I don't want to see you hurt, you're my friend" he said softly

After he said that I hugged him tightly, not wanting to let him go. He hugged back. We stayed like this for a few minutes until I broke that hug.

"Could you please tell me why you keep having these scars and bruises?"

I hesitated for a bit but I decided to tell him everything.

"Ok, fine.. I'll tell you" I said

"Ever since my siblings moved out of our parent's house, my parents were secretly abusing me. I didn't tell anyone about this, not even my siblings. The reason why I didn't tell anyone is because my parents will spread bad rumors of me on the internet.." I said while crying a bit

"Shh, calm down.. it's going to be fine" He said while calming me down

"You'll need to call the police Mitch, you can't live in these conditions" He said

"B-but what i-if" he cuts me off by putting his hand over my mouth

"It'll be fine, I'll protect you at any cost. Now I'll get bandages to heal you up ok? He said

"Ok.." I responded

Five stood up and grabbed some bandages out of his locker and when towards me. After he puts bandages around my face, neck and hands, Five and I stood up at the same time I walked and I completely forgot that my right leg was hurt.

"AHH" I screamed

"What's wrong Mitch? Does your leg hurt?" He asked

I nodded and we sat back down so Five could heal my leg

After he bandaged my leg I tried to walk but it hurts a lot

"You can't walk on your own Mitch, I'll carry you" He said

"Ok fine" I said

Five's POV

I carried him bridal style all the way to the couch with Miko, Zahra and Haneesh. Mitch is so cute when I was carrying him, WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING!? He's just a friend.. just a friend.. yeah were just friends :)

After I put him on the couch Miko immediately grabbed my wrist and went far away from my friends.

"You ok Five? I heard lots of screaming and shouting from Mitch? Did Mitch say anything bad to you?" Miko asked curiously

"Yeah I'm fine, Mitch didn't want to make me put bandages on him and some other stuff, that's all" I responded

"Hmm.. alright, lets go back with the others" Miko said

After this my day went on just like normal, since Mitch is hurt he couldn't fight any glitches nor he could go home. Mitch has to stay in the Hinobi HQ until he is fully healed.
