Chapter 4: Confession

Five's POV

Ever since Mitch's parents went to jail I've been hanging out with Mitch more and more. I decided that tonight I'm going to confess my feelings for him. I picked up my phone and messaged him through whatsapp.

•IN WHATSAPP•

-Hey Mitch, do you want to hang out with me today?

-Sure Five, what time and where?

-At 9:00pm at BlossomBerry Park

-Alright, see you later Five

-See you later too, Mitch

It's 8:24pm right now. I'm getting prepared for tonight and bought some foods and some snacks for us to eat. After that I went to the park, sat down at the bench and waited for Mitch to arrive. Mitch came 2 minutes late but that's fine by me.

After he came we played some games on our phone, ate some of our snacks and talked about some stuff. After all that I decided to tell him how I feel.

"Mitch" I said softly, my voice barely louder than a whisper. "I've been meaning to tell you something for a while now."

Mitch turned to me, a curious smile playing on his lips. "What is it, Newbie?"

I hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the words I was about to say. "I've always believed that love was something that just happens to you, like a force of nature that you can't resist. And that's exactly how I feel about you."

He paused, his eyes meeting mines. "You've been my best friend for so long, but somewhere along the way, you became so much more than that. I realized that every moment we've spent together has brought me to this point. I'm in love with you, Mitch. I think I've been in love with you for a long time."

The air seemed to stand still as I waited for Mitch's response, my heart pounding with hope and fear.

Mitch grabbed my cheek and my hips which pulled me closer to him and them he kissed me. I wanted to kiss him forever but due to the lack of air we separated.

"I love you too Five"

Happily ever after.
