April's POV

It's been about a week since Logan asked me if I wanted to move in with him. We've spent the week looking at houses with a decent sized backyard. We found two house that we like both like and are going back to see them today. We haven't told my parents that we are moving in together and we've convinced Mr and Mrs Ellis to not tell mine. Logan's buying the house but it's going under both of our names. We are looking at our least favourite out of the two first. It's got an old rustic feel to it, but it's still quite modern. It has a large kitchen and entertainment area, where Logan and his friends will probably spend time watching football matches. 5 bedrooms and a study, there is another lounge room which is also where the dinner table can go because the room is tiled.

The other house is a bit more modern and a little bit bigger than the other. It has 4 bedrooms and study (which could be turned into a fifth bedroom, if we needed to), a large kitchen and oven. The bedroom where the twins will be sleeping for the first few years is right next door to the master bedroom. The kitchen and main family area is all together so we can have the dinner table and one of the lounge rooms in the same room. The carport, is connected to the kitchen which makes it easy whens it raining. The backyard has islands of plants to make it good for when the kids have friends over and are playing games.

"So, what do you think?" Logan asks as we pull up to his place.

"I think, I like the first one better. Just because I don't want an overly modern house" I say back.

"Well it's up to you" he says cutting up the onion ready for dinner. He was making us a creation from scratch that involved pasta, onion, bacon, cream, cheese, a dash of ricotta, a hint of garlic (crushed) and some herbs (oregano and basil... I think).

"No don't make me the one that has to choose the house. I hate having to make the big decisions by myself. Logan don't make me do this, please" I say "you know how much a hate it."

"Fine personally, I think we should go with the house that has the more rustic and homey feeling to it."

-

Its moving day today and we have a whole heap of stuff to move. We have been searching for new furniture, baby toys, clothes and bedding. Our mum's have been helping us find and buy equipment for the kitchen, towels and other pieces for the bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything they brought for us they just it was a housewarming gift, well gifts. Jace, Logan and Dex (Logan's eldest brother) where moving in the couches, TV, etc. and mum, Georgia, Logan's mum, Bella and I were unpacking various boxes and deciding where everything would go.

By the time lunch rolled around we had practically everything moved in and was either still in its box, being put together or getting put away. I really can't believe it. Logan and I are living together, in our own house, with the twins on the way.

Logan's POV

As April puts the last piece of her clothing away, I realise that we are finally unpacked. We are finally living in our own house without anyone else, just me and her (well until the twins comes any way).

"Hey gorgeous" I say to her snaking my arms around her waist, while she was cooking the dinner. I had originally offered make it but she insisted and dad keeps saying don't make her unhappy or don't get her angry. I think he's saying this because of two reasons a) because she's pregnant and b) because the woman is always right (apparently). His main advice to me is happy wife, happy life; even though April and I aren't married, but he instead that it was good advice even in this situation.

"Hey" she says back focusing on what she's doing.

"You know I could have made this, right?" I half ask, half question her.

"Yeah, but you having been making me everything lately and I haven't really done a thing. I'm starting to feel really useless" she says leaning back into me.

"April you're not useless and you never will be, besides you're doing the hardest job in the house and doing a pretty damn good job of it to" I chuckle.

"All because we forgot one important aspect of that night" she laughs "but I'm happy with how things planned out and I know you aren't just here because you feel forced to help me with them."

"Yeah, I'm here because I love you and will love until death do us part" I say making her laugh even more.

"Oh please, don't say that again, but on the positive side at least I know you will be using dad jokes with the kids" she says trying to stop laugh now.

"Yeah we can't have them grow up and not know what a dad joke is. It's an important part of a kid's childhood" I say making her laugh even more.

"I think I might have been around for about maybe two minutes, if that before dad gave me my first dad joke" she says, giving me a nudge to loosen my grip, as to move and get the next ingredient. I obey immediately and move back a little so I don't crowd her. She hates being overly crowded. Something's are fine but if she's in a kitchen and there is someone on either side of her she freaks and makes them move.

April's POV

Today has been hectic and we haven't really stopped to see what we have accomplished. As I go to take my nightly shower, I notice the stretch marks, are growing along with my stomach. My back is aching so much that my, great grandmother would be grateful for the aches she has. I just hope that my life won't completely change once I've had Bailey and Nate. I know they will make mine and Logan's life so much better, I will cherish them forever.
