A month left until summer ends and school starts. Hyunjin on the other hand whined when he thought about having to go trough another infernal year of school. Despite he was a great student he still didn't fancied being there, the only thing he qenuinely enjoyed was pranking teachers or being a rascal with Jisung in general. And now he will also have to stand as a shield for the younger boy as he promised to himself and the boy's worried mother. Usually there wasn't any huge bullying case in his school but people are always unpredictable to say. He just hoped no one's gonna get caught up on the boy's muteness and start a shit show therefore.

However there's shortly a month left until that headache.
Currently he was at Jisung's place, laying on his bed as he listened to the brunette's blabberings about his boyfriend.

The convo somehow went like this: Minho this, Minho that, I love Minho so much and bla,bla, bla. Hyunjin was lowkey tired of it. Or just maybe tired of the single life.
It's been a while he had something with another person. I mean, he never had a proper relationship before just try outs which lasted a couple days or maybe a week but for sure they were rushed. He admitted it because he never tried to get to know the other party properly before jumping into something more "serious" with them. He just desperately wanted to be in a relationship to seem cool but honestly he now regrets his reckless past decisions. This led him to have a few hookups instead but nothing meaningful or deeper other than that.

Though, he sometimes fantasized about finally having a healthly relationship with someone. But who will be that someone is the future's secret. However it seemed like his heart sometimes had an idea but Hyunjin felt like it was just a hasty thought so he quickly shook it off.

Those weird feelings and ponders really possessed his mind. He tried to convience himself it was just pure admiration what he felt when he took a glance of those beautiful, glinting eyes, those cute little beauty marks and heart warming smile.
That person was just so..

"Hyunjin! Are you even listening to me??" The brunette boy chirped fake offendedly and crossed his arms as he shot a small death glare towards his dazed out friend. 

"Oh, yeah yeah, Minho is sexy I get it" The raven groaned as he slumped himself down on the mattress, his hand finding it's way to his forehead and began to caress it.

"Uh-huh. You didn't even payed attention, I'm not even talking about Minho anymore you jackass" Jisung huffed like an angry squirrel and rolled his eyes.

"Well my point still stands so?" Hyunjin said as a poor defense receiving an annoyed groan in exchange.

"I'll go and get some homemade limonade from the kitchen, want some?" Jisung asked as he jumped out of his seat.

"Sure, bring me some"

With that the squirrel boy ran towards his door, but of course he didn't forgot to stick out his tongue at the raven before shutting the door behind.

"Menace" Hyunjin noted and shook his head as a sly smirk rose up on his face. Suddenly, he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. The raven haired was quick to dig the device out of his pocket and check the screen.

A tiny smile appeard on his face when he saw the person's name but he was quick to swallow it down.

'Don't get too happy about it Hwang' he scolded himself.

He actually forgot he asked for the younger's number last time he visited him.
Secretly, he was quiet proud of himself for it cuz he finally didn't forgot like he did the at the last few cases. From now on it will be easier to reach out for the younger in advance he needs something for him since his lazy ass got tired running back and forth to the neighbour's when he only wanted to put up a simple question.
