Pov Xaver:

I no longer understood my own feelings. Without any apparent reason, I had just snapped at Dan. Apparently, I needed to vent my frustration somewhere. But usually, I didn't do that to my own pack members. I paused for a moment. What was I thinking? Dan, a pack member? Never. He's only here for a short while and then he'll disappear again.
I put on my hood and went to the small pond I often used as a retreat. No one else knew where it was, and if necessary, I was still close enough to the camp. The clear blue water reflected the sunlight and mirrored the surrounding treetops. An idyllic sight. I sat on a small rock near the shore and started tossing small pebbles into the clear blue. I usually did this to calm myself down. Last night, I had really messed up and had to live with the consequences.

"You're so absent today.", Jason noted. I was still busy holding back my tears and ignored his comment. But suddenly, Jason forcefully pressed my face into the pillow. I struggled wildly under him. Through the pillow, I couldn't breathe at all and was afraid of suffocating. "I'm talking to you.", Jason said reproachfully. He grabbed my hair and lifted me slightly. "I-I'm sorry.", I stammered. Combined with my sobbing, it was almost a miracle if the brown-haired understood me. "I hope so. And now pull yourself together! I can't stand it when your head is somewhere else while I'm fucking you." I nodded slightly. Jason was visibly irritated, and I couldn't afford another mistake. "You better grit your teeth now.", Jason said, and I looked at him incredulously, full of fear of what he was planning. I felt Jason grab my tail and hold it tightly. The pain made me squeeze my eyes shut. Then Jason started licking my buttocks with his tongue and biting hard into my thigh. I flinched. The warm blood from the bite wound began to spread over my thigh, and I automatically started to tremble a little. Without any warning, Jason suddenly thrust into me so hard that I screamed. "Shit. You're still so tight!", Jason declared, thrusting all the way in. This feeling was humiliating, agonizing, and just pure hell on earth. I felt like I was going to tear apart from the inside at any moment. To suppress the urge to fight back, I bit into the pillow as hard as I could. It felt almost like the first time Jason took me. Just as painful, just as brutal.

Jason kept going with me all night. When he finally had enough, he put on his clothes and left without a word. Thanks to that bastard, I had these fucking painful bite wounds and bruises all over my body. At least Jason was kind enough to spare my arms.
I desperately put my hands on my face. If I could, I would kick Jason out of the pack immediately, but I knew exactly that if I did, he would take my place by force. Although we might be equally strong in terms of pure muscle power, he was clearly superior to me due to his size. When I became Alpha, Jason offered me a sort of deal. He would let me keep the rank of Alpha if he could serve as Beta and I allowed him to indulge his sexual desires with me. Back then, I was just too naive and thought it wouldn't be a big deal. I just really wanted to be the leader. And now, I have to endure pure hell whenever Jason feels like it. It has always been bad, but soon the mating season would start, and then I might as well sign my death warrant.

I sat by the shore for a while longer, thinking about all sorts of things. Mostly about what I should do with Dan. It was a mistake for me to take him in. He said he couldn't remember what happened before we found him, but my distrust remained. If what he said was true and he really came from the northern pack, we had a serious problem. That pack is our worst enemy, and if they attacked us, it would surely end in a disaster.
My ears twitched as I heard a cracking sound. I immediately jumped up and scanned my surroundings. Someone was here. But where? I heard another crack of branches. The noise was too strong for a small animal, but it was definitely not bigger than a bear either. I cautiously approached the spot where the sound came from. Suddenly, something jumped out of the bushes at me. Reflexively, I swung and punched the person in the face with my bare fist. They fell to the ground, and I recognized a very familiar face. Jack was sitting in front of me, holding his cheek. "What do you think you're doing, sneaking up like that?!", I scolded. "Sorry, boss. I was looking for you. The hunting party wanted to discuss something with you." I rolled my eyes in annoyance and helped Jack to his feet. "Thanks for the info. Are you okay?" Jack seemed surprised by my question but then nodded. I wondered how he had found me here, but Jack was quite good at tracking others anyway.
