since the night of the party i haven't spoke to paige, i didn't know what to say. did she regret it ?

did i ?

i wasn't sure of my feelings for the blonde. yeah she was cute and funny and nice and- why do i lowkey sound obsessed.

maybe i am. should i just admit it ? am i even allowed to like her ?

my thoughts didnt give me a moment of peace as i walked to training.

as the training facility came into view i pried the blonde girl out of my mind, forcing it onto basketball.

we had training at 7:30 this morning but i decided to get here at 6 to practice.

my left handed jump was an ugly mess and everytime i missed my shot i felt like an idiot, like i didn't belong.

so i decided to work on it until 6:45 then hit the gym.

since i was quite short i needed my shots and strength to make up for it which i didnt think they were at the moment.

my shoes squeaked as i practiced my shot from around the court.

this was not fun.

time skip...

i sat in the locker room as the girl began arriving at around 7:20.

paige got here at 7:23, yeah maybe i was waiting for her whatever.

everyone got ready for training and slowly filtered out leaving just me and paige.

i got up to leave until her voice startled me, holding me back.

'wait' she instructed.

i stopped in my tracks, turning to face her.

she just stood there staring at me, not saying a word.

'waiting...' i replied in confusion.

'i don't know what to say' she admitted, looking down.

i walked over to the girl, and stood facing her.

'you wanna talk about it ?' i questioned.

'yeah' she replied, not meeting my gaze

'do u regret it ?' i asked her, looking down in fear that maybe she did. i hope she didn't. i don't think i did.

'no' she mumbled.

'where's all ur confidence gone then hot shot' i joked.

'shut i' she scoffed, rolling her eyes.

'don't roll your eyes at me attitude' i scoffed.

'yes mam' she giggled.

'hey mamas' i teased the girl, finally causing her to meet my eyes.

'what did u just call me' she gasped.

'hey. mamas.' i emphasised, tilting my head to the side.

'right that's it' she huffed, heaving me over her shoulder and pushing the door open with my body.

'hey put me down you roughen' i yelled, smacking her head as i tried to stand up.

'take it back' she sang as she skipped towards the training court.

'no i'm not wrong' i laughed.

'yes u are' she groaned.
